My Summary

My Experience

I am a qualified teacher having worked as both a teacher and TA in primary schools with children ranging from ages 3-11. I have strong knowledge of the current curriculum as well as a comprehensive understanding of how children learn and develop, including children with additional learning needs so I am more than happy to support your child/children with their school work. In 2021, I began working as a residential support worker caring for children in a variety of care homes across Sussex. Here, I supported children who had experienced significant trauma or abuse and often had additional needs including ASD, ADHD and SEMH. I am confident in managing challenging behaviours and understand how to work therapeutically yet assertively with children to help them overcome difficulties in their lives. Here, I gained my Level 3 diploma in Residential Childcare. Within this role, my daily practice also included housekeeping duties such as cooking, cleaning, laundry and organising appointments in addition to supporting daily routines such as school runs, bath times and settling children to bed. Having worked with some very stubborn children when it comes to following hygiene routines and eating their veg, I have developed some very creative tips and tricks to motivate children to stay clean, healthy and satiated! I also understand the importance of keeping a clean and organised home environment and I always try to get the kids involved with these little tasks whenever possible to teach them helpful life skills/habits! Through my education and childcare experience, I am accustomed to supporting multiple children at a time and very skilled on the supervision front so if you have more than 1 child that's no problem for me!

My Availability

I am currently flexible with my hours. I would be willing to work overnight on an ad-hoc basis.

My Fees

• Nannying from £18.00 per hour (gross)

I charge £18 per hour for my services due to my experience and qualifications, this fee covers any tutoring your child may need, housekeeping tasks including cooking and cleaning, as well as any admin work you may need done to support the effective running of your home and lives of your children (e.g. arranging appointments, clubs etc.) For any overnight stays, I will charge a lump sump rather than charging hourly.
