About Me
I am relocating to Bristol for a job working with young people who have arrived in the UK seeking asylum. Alongside this role, I am looking for flexible work and would love to find this babysitting as I love to work with children and have experience with it. Along with working with young people/teenagers, I have also worked as a teacher over the past decade mostly with young children aged 4-6.
In my free time, I love exploring new places, spending time outdoors (especially near the sea), arts and crafts, and reading!
My Experience
I have experience working with children over the past 12 years including as a lead teacher at a Waldorf summer camp for a class of up to 16 children, as an aftercare lead, and as a substitute at a school and a children's centre. I have previous experience babysitting, including as a Hotel Sitter through an agency.
I have the most experience working with children aged 4-6, but do also have experience with those aged 1 - 13.
I additionally work with young people from age 14 into their early 20s. I have worked as a facilitator, activity leader, and English class teaching assistant.
My Qualifications
Alongside my on the job experience working with children, I have recently completed a Professional Certificate in Social Work (February 2023).
My Availability
I would be free for regular work Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. I am very flexible for suggestions for times as well, particularly on an ad hoc basis.
