About Me
I am an Ofsted registered childminder based in Stonehouse.
I have 4 children of my own aged between 15 and 9. One of my children is home educated full time so I am happy to offer places to older children who are also home educated.
I believe that all children should be treated as individuals and nurtured to grow and develop while following their interests.
I use this principle in how I parent my own children and carry this through into my childminding.
My setting includes a dedicated playroom which I use for arts and crafts, imaginative play and learning activities. I like to encourage the children to be involved in their own nutrition through baking and preparing snacks. I also like to take the children into the garden to learn about planting and growing their own vegetables.
My Experience
I have experience with neurodivergent children and children who have learning disabilities. I recognise that children develop at their own pace and have a variety of needs. I try to understand the needs of each child so I can provide the best environment for them to learn and grow as individuals.
My Qualifications
I have the relevant childminding and first aid qualifications.
My Availability
I am currently accepting applications for September 2025 for Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Morning sessions: 8am-1pm
Afternoon sessions: 1pm-6pm
Full day: 8am-6pm
