About Me
Myself and my husband both work full-time. I work typical office hours and my husband works shifts in retail. We are pretty laid back and our family is extremely important to us.
Our son is due to start school September 2024. We are hoping to get our first choice at Longford Park. (The Grange Community school and St Johns being 2nd and 3rd choice).
Our son was born with a congenital heart defect, so he does have some mobility issues and he also has a pacemaker - however, he is a bright, energetic and friendly boy and doesn't let his disabilities get in his way.
My Requirements
I work office hours, so only really need someone to do school pick up and look after my son between 17:00 to 17:30 each day until I finish work. Some days in the week I even finish at 16:30. Tuesdays and Thursdays I currently work from home, but still require child care for after school until I officially finish working. Mondays, Thursdays and every other Fridays I can currently finish work between16:00 to 16:30 (depending on my flexi balance).
We are unsure on what wrap-around care will can be offered at whichever school our son ends up being offered, so figured it was best to explore child minder options. We will also need cover in half-terms, some of the summer holidays and one week of Easter or Christmas break (we will do our best to use our annual leave on these breaks too, but will still have some excess half term/summer/winter breaks that we may need help with).
