Expectations and duties
The family are looking for a proactive, kind and nurturing nanny who is supportive of the needs of a young baby and a busy working family. Mum would like help with establishing a routine (as much as you can with a young baby) and be able to combi feed if possible.

As mentioned above, they are super flexible on either four or four and a half days a week. They are ideally looking for a six-month fixed-term contract as the baby will be going to a childminder from around September 2025.

The role will include being in charge of the physical care of the child, supporting and providing activities for the holistic development of the child, communicating with parents on all aspects of the care of the child, completing nanny documentation in order to keep parents informed about their child’s care, well-being and development, providing well-balanced and nutritious meals appropriate to the needs of the child, cleaning and tidying the nursery, bedroom, playroom and other areas as agreed with the parents, cleaning, laundering and mending the child’s clothes and toys, being responsible for all equipment related to the care of the child, including the cleaning and maintenance of items such as sterilisers, buggies, car seats, etc.

The family live in central Twickenham, a five-minute walk to the mainline station. It is a very child-friendly, sporty area and they say they are super lucky to have incredible green spaces nearby with Richmond Park, Kew and Bushy Park. A great number of independent and high-street shops and cafes and supermarkets are within walking distance.
