About Me
My Name is Sophie and I am looking for a small childcare setting for my son Xander. Xander will be 2 years old on 13th July but he will need more support than his peers. Xander suffered a brain injury at birth and this has caused him to have cerebral palsy. I am looking for the right setting, ideally a childminder, or smaller nursery setting to look after my precious boy and hoping to find the person who I meet and just know is the one for him!!
My Requirements
Xander will likely need 1:2:1 support at nursery and his EHCP will come along with the funding needed to meet this need and hopefully also be useful for your own provision in terms of adaptations, equipment and funding etc.
I would initially like to explore a part time place for Xander over 2/3 days a week with the possibility to increase to full time if the provider feels able to meet his varying needs.
