About Me

We have a five year old boy diagnosed as autistic and a 17 month old girl. Our boy does not display any behaviours that challenge but can be anxious and struggle to communicate, especially when he doesn't know someone well. My husband and I both work for the NHS but have some flexibility in hours and can also work from home but cannot do that and care for the children. We can, however, work from home with a nanny in the house, or can be out if that is preferred.

My Requirements

Live Out Nanny
Part Time Nanny
Special Needs Experience

We need childcare for approximately one day a week during school holidays and can be flexible on the day. This is because we don't have enough annual leave to cover all holidays between us, so could consider a few days a week in longer holidays with some weeks of no childcare, for example. We would prefer this to be in our home but would consider alternatives. We would also like the occasional evening of childcare as my husband and I have not had an evening out together in over five years due to lack of childcare options for us. We would prefer someone with some SEND/Autism experience but this isn't absolutely essential. A nurturing, maternal, gentle approach is needed, particularly for my son, who can be quite sensitive.
