About Me

I am an Undergrad student with number of skills that I believe are essential for an individual who wants to care for a child. As being the eldest child in my family and taking care of my younger siblings I developed key understanding of a childs development stages which gave me an ability to create age-appropriate activities. Along with some knowledge of basic first aid and child safety. Furthermore, I possess an ability to have clear and effective communication with both children and parents. Active listening to understand and respond to children’s needs and the ability to give instructions and explanations in a way children can understand.
I am very patient and flexible, as I always maintain calmness and patience in stressful situations.
On the other hand, I believe to be the best carer for a child, creativity and education is as important as anything else. I always make sure to engage children with creative and educational activities, by Inventing fun games, crafts, and activities to keep children entertained and learning as well as assisting with homework and school projects. I would always make sure to encourage their love for learning through reading and educational games. Similarly, I would make sure to build trust with both children and parents, by being punctual and dependable. I require high organisation skills, therefore, managing children’s schedules, including meals, naps, and activities and keeping the children's living and play areas clean and organised will be a key practice for me.
