My Son is 4 but started Reception in September, being an end of August Baby. So his class mates are all going 5, so to keep him on track with those a year older, we looked into getting a Personal Tutor.

Emma has been a warm, friendly, nurturing, sympathetic, supportive, understanding
patient and welcomed addition to Our week. He does long days 8.30am-3.30pm at School and then comes straight Home to see Emma for 1hour, which he actually looks forward to and doesn't see it as a chore.

She tailers his learning to suit him, checking his school books to work alongside what he is doing at school. Her Reception Years teaching and experience is an added bonus because she knows exactly what we should be expecting from our Son and keeping him on target.

He is learning through some play and most of all enjoying his lessons, receiving stickers for his good work, which for him is an added bonus. He is reading and writing and improving week on week which it is evident to see.

He is doing well and as Parents it gives us peace of mind, that he is having a one-on-one session weekly. She evens gives us a quick breakdown at the end of each session so we know where he is in line with the curriculum but also potentially his peers.

We would highly recommend Emma to anyone looking for a Private Tutor.
