About Me

Hi! I am a trainee art therapist and while I am not offering formal therapy, my experience and training informs the way I interact with and support children. My primary focus is on providing safe, attentive care but I also bring a creative approach that encourages self-expression and emotional well-being through art and play.

My Experience

I have a strong background in supporting vulnerable children and adults in different institutional settings and the home, including work as a prison library assistant, support worker and special needs teaching assistant. I have worked with individuals with mental health diagnoses, ADHD, autism, dementia, down syndrome, cerebral palsy and other physical disabilities, individuals with emotional distress, issues with self-esteem and challenging behaviour, individuals at the beginning and at the end of life.

My Qualifications

I have an undergraduate degree in Psychology and currently working towards my Art Psychotherapy Masters qualification.

My Availability

I am available 10 hours a week at the moment, at the end of June, I will be available for more hours as my Masters breaks for summer.
