We were very lucky to have Clair and Garry looking after our boys from age 9 months all the way to school - our younger son is starting school this September. From the first visit at childminder's home we instantly knew, this is the right environment for our children. It felt warm, safe, friendly like home should be. Every week was well structured and packed with amazing indoor and outdoor activities, trips to parks, playgrounds, play centres, playgroups, etc. Children are active, exploring, learning, making friends, having a great time. We were always very impressed with the creativity, ideas, beautiful crafts we will miss so much (we kept so many). Clair's home is clean, well organised, there are lots of toys, lovely garden. We always had a very good communication, our children's early learning, development and progress was well documented. Most importantly our boys were always very happy to be at Clair's and Garry's home and we, as full time working parents, had a very much needed piece of mind that they are safe, well looked after, and simply enjoying their day. Therefore, there is not enough words to express how grateful we are for all that Clair and Garry have done for our family. We thank them for their dedication, kindness, advice, for being reliable, supportive, all their hard work. They had a huge impact in shaping our boy's lifes at these early years and preparing them for their next chapter at school. My husband and I have all confidence in recommending Clair and Gary's childminding setting. We will keep in touch and keep visiting.

My daughter attended Clair and Garry’s setting from 14 months old right up until starting school. Choosing the right childminder was a huge decision for me but from the moment I met Clair and Garry at their home I had a really good feeling and knew instantly these were the right childminders for my daughter.
It is a very well run, organised, reliable setting and is also like a home from home. It is a very friendly and happy home, where children are treated like one of the family and because there are two of them, they can have more children at their setting. The environment is caring and friendly and my daughter has enjoyed her time there. Clair and Garry like to be out and about and they plan lots of fun activities, such as farm visits, tank museum visits, trips to the beach and strawberry picking.
A lot of thought goes into planning the daily activities such as arts and crafts, make believe play, dress up, stories, songs and games. Clair and Garry also assist with skills such as independent dressing as well as encouraging good manners. I have also been kept up to date with what my daughter did each day with a diary and had photos too which was lovely. At the end of the term I got a folder of paperwork, so I could read in detail my daughter’s progress.
Clair and Garry have been a huge support and are always happy to offer their expertise and guidance on anything, such as food portions, potty training etc and are full of ideas and tips. They identify if my daughter found something a bit tricky and communicated with me, so I could practice at home with her.
One of the most priceless things for me personally was that I never had to worry about my daughter when she was at the setting, as their qualifications, patience and kindness and sheer love for their jobs meant I knew she was in safe hands. I could not recommend Clair and Garry highly enough for the care of your child.

We entrusted our little one (LO) to Garry and Clair from the age of 7 months after a few unsuccessful settling sessions with local nurseries. And we are so happy that we did. They truly create a home from home environment with daily activities and outings at no additional cost. It has been so rewarding to see LO grow and development relationships with both Clair and Garry and the other children in their care. They provide great daily feedback as well as all the reporting on learning required by EYFS. It has been a joy to experience the love they show towards all those in their care and it was sad to say goodbye. The only reason we are moving our LO is due to relocation.

My son dylan joined clair and garrys setting from the age of 9 months old. Dylan is now 4 years old and starting school in september. That is the only reason he's leaving the setting at the end of august. Clair and garry have helped dylan advance so much during his time in their care. Both being very professional, caring and also keeping dylan safe. I cannot thank them enough for all they have done helping dylan grow into such a wonderful, helpful and well mannered little boy. Dylan has made so many lovely little friends during his time in your care. We shall miss you both so much. You have both been absolute stars. I highly recommend clair and garry!!

Our eldest has been with Clair &Garry since he was 16 months old and is now starting school. He has had an amazing time in this setting and they have supported him through some emotional times along with his natural growing and development for his age. He flourishes on their full schedule of forests, parks, groups and use of the beach along with their lovely garden.
He is very much at home with them and one of the main reasons in choosing them is the fact they are a couple who work together giving him the nurturing from both a male and female carer when we are not around.
Both highly qualified and worked well with us and alongside us with every step of his daily needs and development, very easy to communicate with and support us as parents. As he has now started school and our experience with Clair &Garry as both a setting and individuals, our youngest has and so started and has settled in beautifully.

I am so thankful that we ever found Clair and Garry to care for our then 11 month old little girl. As an over cautious first time parent, you really helped both myself and our girl through that scary transition back to work. That little baby is now off to start school this Sept and I truly believe that her time spent with you both has been so beneficial to her learning and confidence. Your knowledge and professionalism coupled with loving and friendly personalities has been perfect for our family. I must add that the effort you both make to document our daughters developments has been oustanding and we've benefited/learnt so much through her extensive learning journal. Many friends and memories have been made and we will truly all miss you both so much.

Clair and Garry have provided my boys with a stable, loving and fun home from home for the last 5 years. They have nurtured and helped my boys develop and grow up in so many ways. Both my boys have thoroughly enjoyed their time at the setting and made some brilliant friends along the way. They especially loved going to playgroup, soft plays, parks and doing creative craft work. The constant communication, adaptability and care has been excellent, combined with their superb learning journals, which we have so enjoyed sharing. Thank you so much for all your hard work and support, especially with their tricky dietary needs. We will all miss you!

My son has spent the last 10 years in your care - which speaks for its self! He joined you at the age of 1 and is now 11 and moving onto secondary school, hence the reason he will be leaving your setting. I truly believe you have helped with his growth and development to teach him the skills needed to prepare him for school and beyond. The variety of activities that you organise have been fantastic – both fun and educational. I cannot thank you enough for taking care of our son for the last 10 years, keeping him safe and most importantly happy.

You've been such a massive part of the girls lives over the past 6 years, taking them from 7 months old into your care. I know the girls have enjoyed the day trips out, the visits to play and music groups, and the nice things you did. We often look at the lovely learning journals and photos you took and enjoy seeing how they have changed as many of their first milestones were achieved whilst with you. We have so much to thank you for and thank you for your continued support while they've been at school.
