My 8 year old daughter was with Tracy for over a year (before and after school) and she loved every single moment of her time there. Tracy always makes sure children in her care get on well, they play lots of games together (and Tracy joins them too!) and they become good friends. At the beginning I was a bit worried that my daughter would get bored (she was the oldest in the group and we had this problem with previous child-minders) but Tracy provided many age-appropriate games, puzzles and arts & crafts activities, or simply an interesting conversations. What I also loved about Tracy's approach is that she would sometimes sit with the children and practice things they did at school (maths, spellings etc.) but in a lovely playful way. It kept children busy, entertained and was educating at the same time! Kids watch TV occasionally, only at pick-up time or when they are very tired.

The setting itself is excellent, with child-friendly zone, consisting of two rooms, small kitchen and toilet separated from the rest of Tracy's house. The rooms are always clean and very inviting, with many toys and games for different age groups, reward charts and books. There is a garden at the back of the house as well.

Children eat at the table together; food is freshly prepared with lots of vegetables and fruit. Tracy keeps a journal for each child and gives parents a report about what the child eats and how much. She also e-mails out a lot of photos which is so nice!

Tracy is very professional, she has never been late and she communicates well with both children and parents. My daughter thinks about her as part of the family and asks me to go to Tracy's during school holidays.

I cannot recommend Tracy enough; she really is the best child-minder we have ever had!
