Julie is an amazing and wonderful Childminder

This is the second time my eldest has been to Julie's. First time was about 5 years ago for a 2 year period. And he absolutely loved going every day. Since returning to Julie's 8 months ago, we have been nothing then happy with the service she provides to our children.

My eldest was so excited to hear that julie was going to look after him agian. My children go for a mixture of before and after school session and also my youngest baby for full days.

Julie is absolutely amazing human being. She is supper supportive, knowledgeable, thoughtful, flexible and we would be lost without her kindness. She and her Partner Barry love to keep us parents updated throughout the day on the children's activities and they go the extra mile to make sure the children are entertained; with lots of creative activities, toys, lots adventurous walks in the woods, visits e.g. farms, bishops palace, soft play and additional trips to local activities withing the area.

I had absolutely had no doubt about sending my children. As we know 100% that we had made the right choice. Both my children love the time they spend with Julie and Barry. They have made many new friends.

If you are looking for quality childcare with a safe and fun environment, stop because you've found it. I would 100% recommend Julie and Barry, they are brillant childcare providers. Thank you for everything you do Julie and Barry M&G Marchant

Always goes the extra mile; Julie really cares.

My son and daughter have been looked after by Julie since my son started school 6 years ago. Julie is extremely reliable: not only has she always been there to pick up/drop off from school, provide play time, activities, food, Julie us extremely flexible and understanding and will always do her best to accommodate any request as well as making it special for the children during times of celebration i.e. birthdays, holidays etc. In my experience, this is very rare. Julie genuinely cares about the children she looks after - their well being, happiness and interests. I highly recommend Julie and her wonderful childminding service.

Always goes the extra mile

Julie looks after my two year old full time and my 5 year old before and after school. The children love it at Julies who always goes the extra mile to ensure the kids are having fun. Birthdays, Christmas and the school holidays are always jam packed with fun activities. There is ample space for the kids to play inside and outside and plenty of animals to keep them entertained too. Julie helped to home school my 5 year old when the schools closed and really helped him progress with his learning. It really is a great environment for kids to play and learn.

However I am super proud of how hard your young man worked during lock down ..I’m not sure who was more excited with the three or four light bulb moments during our learning journey together .

Simply Wonderful

Being a police officer, I find it extremely hard to trust anyone and when I was looking for a flexible childminder that I could trust my child with, I found Julie. My daughter has been with Julie for 10 months now and absolutely loves going to the point she doesn't even say goodbye to me anymore! She is looked after beautifully, kept entertained all day, is taught lovely manners and table manners. Julie respects your views as a parent and is always there to give great, experienced advice. Julie's home is my daughters second home, she feels comfortable and happy there and she truly is part of the child minding family unit that Julie has built. Julie also has been amazing working around my shift pattern which was a huge worry for me as Nurserys did not accommodate at all. Overall, I could not have asked for a better person to look after my daughter.

we’ve worked hard as a team to crack sleeping .. which was a massive achievement on your behalf for believing in my advice, it was so incredibly hard for you both ..
Your very energetic young lady is a real character to whom I love dearly .. it’s been a challenging time during lock down not being able to go far , however I don’t feel the children have suffered . Looking forward to potty training very soon .. 😬

Professional childminder

Julie was a childminder for my children for 5 years. The care that she provided to my children was comprehensive. I never had to worry about my children because I knew they had the best care possible. I am Julie extremely grateful for how she raised my children while I was working. Always open to suggestions, comments or insights. Julie offers a warm, friendly and open home to every child who is treated individually. I owe Julie a lot and recommend to every parent who is looking for professional care

I’ve a very soft spot for Max a moo moo I always will have .. we have a special love for one another .. Tobi well he’s just lush .. I’m super proud of how well he’s doing with his sports .. he taught me a lot about bilingual children.. I’m so glad I still see them at school other wise I’d be heartbroken..
I will also hold dear the special friendship
Jacob and Tobi have .. which I’m convinced will be life long and I feel privileged to be part of that x.. you were amazing parents to work for .. always open minded and so supportive.. especially through Phills illness and death ..

Fantastic in all aspects

My little boy charlie who's nearly 4 has been going to Julie's part time since he was 8 months (2/3) days a week. He absolutely loves it , he wakes up every morning asking if he is going to Julie's and as soon as I say "yes" he is over the moon that he is spending the day with her! Julie has been fantastic in giving him confidence and encouragement in all aspects over the last 4 years. She is kind and caring and is always there for a cuddle when he wants one. It is like home from home at Julie's house and she will always go the extra mile to help and be flexible.
Julie is also a great teacher, Charlie loves learning his numbers, letters & shapes ect and he makes great progress with julie. Her partner and her son are also both lovely and the kids think they are all great 😊 I would be lost with out her and will be using her for many more years to come!

You like all my parents must take credit in what fine young little people you all have ..
I’ve always a cuddle or snuggle free when needed ..Alex and Barry both enjoy the winkles they all get on really well together and have a great bond .

Our daughter loves Julie

We’ve been using Julie for breakfast/after school care and school holidays. Our daughter loves going there “Julies Shepard’s pie is the best as she has beans in it!” Plus she super organised and plans any leave a year in advance so you can plan ahead.
Highly recommend 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

We Love Julie

Julie is an absolutely fantastic childminder, words cannot begin to express my gratitude for all of her help with my two over the past 4 years. When you hand over your children to someone you want to know that they will be safe, happy and nurtured...I can safely say that both of my two feel that way when they are with Julie. She treats each of her children as individuals and I know that she loves each and every one of them. She offers a great range of enrichment activities for them all and operates in a firm but very fair way. She takes a keen interest in all of their achievements at home and at school and will always make an effort to celebrate these with them. Julie goes above and beyond for all of her families whenever she can. Over the years she has offered both practical and emotional support to us all which is very much appreciated and, I believe, beyond her remit as a childminder.
For as long as I need a childminder I will use Julie and would have no hesitation in recommending her to other parents.

Double Whammy

I was one of Julie’s first childminding children 20 years ago so I know first hand what a lovely and fun home Julie has. I now have a 4 year daughter whom Julie looks after before and after school 3 days a week and during the holidays. My daughter went to a nursery before going to Julie’s and seeing Julie and her assistant Jane with the babies and younger children made me wish that I had sent her straight here! She’s loves all the activities that Julie puts on for the children and also tells me “Julie cooks the best pasta ever”!

But to be able to look after your lovely little Ruby is the best review possible.. you knew Phill and we’re there at his one foot in the grave party with Ruby as a wee baby ..
Emily wrote that wonderful poem and read it with Christopher at his funeral .
You were a fine young lady with wonderful parents ..
Now you are a wonderful parent with a fine young lady ..
I feel humbled and privileged to have been part of your younger life and now helping to look after ruby !!
