My Summary

My Experience

I used to work as an au pair for 1 year. I used to look after twins (boy and girl) aged 10 and a boy 12. After that I became a carer of a now 34 year old disabled man, and became one of the team leaders, so had lot of responsibilities. (rotas, medication order, arrange and reschedule appointments, arranging holidays, lists, etc). I work in a nursery part time with kids age 3months-4-5yrs. And now have a daughter born 10/01/18.

My Qualifications

I was previously working as an au pair. This involved working with young children often in challenging circumstances and stressful situations. It was essential to be able to relate to the parents with whom I shared not only responsibility for their children's upbringing but also management of their homes, respecting their views and privacy and earning their trust.

I was a senior personal care assistant for 9 years for a client with physical disability. The client is an active campaigner for disabled people's rights and so I have needed to accompany him to high profile events and locations. This has required me to dress appropriately and to act with professionalism. The severe nature of his physical disability required that I assisted him with all his every day physical needs whilst also allowing him to retain his privacy and dignity.

Both jobs required me to drive very carefully, so am a very confident driver.

I have been working in a nursery in part time (20 hrs) in the last 6 years, and have done several trainings with the nursery, first aid being one of them. I have truly been enjoying this job, and would like to carry on looking after children as it's my passion.

I also have a toddler who is 5.

I am a hard worker, eager to learn and carry out tasks to perfection. Also fun when needed to be. :-)

My Availability

I'm available for school drop offs and pick ups, and for occasional babysitting. Term time only.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
• Nannying from £10.00 per hour (net)
