The best home from home

My little man’s been with Marie for over two years and I couldn’t be happier. He absolutely loves her and I love getting photos of what he is getting up to throughout my day. As a reception teacher who spends a bit of time visiting nursery’s I would always put Marie at the top of my recommendation list. She is knowledgeable but so kind and caring and it’s such a comfort knowing my child is safe and happy!

Genuine care and immense support and growth

My child has been with Marie and Graham since 6 months old and there is never a day she isn’t thrilled to be attending. She has progressed and excelled in so many ways, with Marie always supporting our desires and home concerns, enabling us all to collectively aid growth and always keeps us up to date. Our WhatsApp communication is a huge benefit and I’m glad Marie takes the time out of her day to keep us included, as well as reports and bringing home creation and drawings. I have no doubt on progression or differences between childminders and nursery’s and will be keeping our child there until school, who will then miss Grahams 5* lunches!

Chance encounter, a lifetime of happiness.

We met Marie back in 2020 when our daughter was only a few months old. Marie explained her lengthy experience to us within the childcare setting, although this was fantastic, we were sold by her kind nature and even as young as our daughter was at the time she immediately warmed to her.

Our daughter has been going to Marie since she was 10 months old and will soon be heading to school in September. When our daughter moves on to infant school we will still be booking in sessions for our daughter in the holidays to continue with her own personal development.

The progress and life skills that Marie has been able to show our daughter are outstanding, everyday she comes home and amazes us with new skills that she has learnt. I feel blessed and honoured to have met Marie and been able to allow my daughter to progress with her, my daughters knowledge of nutrition is amazing thanks to the well balanced diet that Marie provides for the children. We always look forward to the updates from Marie with what our daughter has been up to through the day, which often includes learning Makaton, walks to the park, yoga & garden trips!

If you would like your child to be at a ‘home away from home’ where the meals are homecooked & your little one thrives everyday, then this is the setting for you. We cannot rate Marie high enough & feel privileged to have her support. Marie always has a smile on her face and her home is perfect for all ages. It’s a huge decision when it comes to deciding childcare, however feeling relaxed knowing your child is safe & well cared for is why we chose Honey Bear Day Care. You really are super woman, thank you!

Amazing!

My son went to Marie for a few years before he then moved onto school. Marie and her husband are kind, caring, supportive and just amazing people! Our son still attends the daycare when possible during holidays and he talks about them almost every day! When we drive past their house he shouts out that he wants to go and play! The children are all so friendly and get on great. We found having a WhatsApp group brilliant! Where we can be updated on what activities our son was doing and food he was eating etc. There’s so many activities to do in the house, the garden and also lots of trips out to parks! We are so glad we found Marie and her husband, not just childminders but amazing friends who we will always be grateful for. Truly special people and we thank you for everything you do.

A caring and supportive childminder

We couldn’t recommend Marie enough.
Our son has been being looked after by Marie since he was 6 months old (now 2.5years old) and he has absolutely flourished in her care. I am never in doubt that he is receiving the utmost care. He learns so much and as a result of the learning and support he receives was walking / talking earlier than we ever expected.
Marie genuinely cares for all the children in her care and it is so lovely to see. They have a safe and caring space to grow and develop with the required support.
The home cooked meals are brilliant meaning he gets a real varied diet.
We are able to ask Marie for additional support in areas needed without feeling as though this is a burden.
The group WhatsApp is brilliant and keeps us updated with activities through the day and how he is progressing.
We are forever grateful to be able to leave our son in the care of someone who invests so much time and care to him.

Highly Recommended Childminder

My son has been going to Marie for over 6 months now.
He is excited every drop off.
I am updated throughout the day with pictures and can see how great Marie and Graham are with all the children.
Freshly cooked food everyday.
Highly recommended.
