We first brought our daughter to Julie at 18 months old while I was visiting from America. Our daughter settled in at Julie’s in such a short time. Being from another country and not having any family here in the UK, I was grateful to have been recommended to Julie because I can see that our daughter was happy during her time there. It was also amazing to witness her growth in just a few weeks. One of her first words was “Alfie” which is Julie’s dog! I’m extremely happy to have been connected to Julie as I can see such a resemblance of how she cares for our daughter to how my partner and I want to raise her. When we finally got approved for our visas and officially moved to the UK in August 2019, it was no question that we wanted to return to Julie’s services. Julie is also so flexible with our hours (5 days a week!) and is easy to talk to when we drop off/pick up our daughter to hear all the stories and feedback of her day, which is greatly appreciated. Our daughter was also thrilled to be back, and it was as though the couple of months we were away was just a week. Julie keeps an active day planned, such as going for walks to the park, going to the library, going to play group, or just being at her home (toys galore!), which has built our daughter’s social skills (she now has friends!) and even progressed her ability to be independent (but I know this is also attest to Julie’s way of allowing our daughter to make her own decisions and still be conscious of her manners). Coming home from a long day at work, I am pleasantly surprised that our daughter has learned her ABC’s, she knows children songs I’ve never even heard of, and is excited to tell me stories from her day at Julie’s. It gives me such comfort that our daughter considers Julie and her home as a safe place and I couldn’t be happier with the service Julie provides. Highly recommend!

Julie used to look after my little one 3 days a week for me. We had moved location & my daughter had been in a nursery - having a childminder made more sense for us for various reasons and I had been recommended Julie by a friend in the area. As soon as my husband & I met her, saw her premises and had a chat we knew she was right for us & our girl! She helped with the smooth transition of going from a nursery to mixing with a smaller group, always making our daughters days fun & interesting as well as structured.
I cannot recommend her enough, not only is Julie very professional but also very easy to talk to.
she was a godsend to us and we would definitely use her again when our next one comes along!

Julie has looked after both my sons on a number of occasions. My son is 6 and has additional educational needs and is on the autism spectrum. Julie has a son who has the same diagnosis so I felt would be uniquely able to care for him while I'm at work.
My younger son is 4 and Julie has looked after him as well.
Both my sons have always left Julie's very happy and are always excited to return.
I dont have any reservations about leaving my boys with her and only have positive things to say.

Julie minded our one year old son during a period of massive transition for us. I had just gone back to work and we were also close to moving homes. Julie was a lifesaver. She was patient and understanding and kind to Rowan. She made me feel at ease going back to work and I knew I did not have to worry. Julie loves taking the kids out to the Beeches and made sure Rowan was happy, safe and enjoyed his day. Julie and her husband have a lovely home and I would not hesitate to reccomend her to anyone in need of a childminder.

Julie has always been extremely helpful. For example, when she is doing school drop off for me she is happy to relay messages to the teachers or make enquiries on my behalf.
She helped my youngest child to settle in and develop her confidence by being very caring and supportive.
Whenever I have had work commitments that fall outside of our regular hours Julie has always been happy to cover. She has been extremely flexible.
My kids both love Julie and her family and really enjoy the trips she takes them on. They particularly love walking in the woods which Julie does regularly.
I would be very happy to recommend Julie to anyone that needs childcare.
