Will treat your child like her grandchild.
I’m a teacher and do not trust many people to look after my children. However Carol was the exception and I’m so glad I did. My little one loved every second spent with her and the progress in both his confidence and development was incredible.
I initially met Carol at a local play group with my older boy and it took me 3 months to realise she was childminding the children she was with. The relationship they displayed was similar to a grandmother and grand children. She was extremely attentive and caring. When uncertain the children would curl up on her lap in a big hug and she would gently encourage them to play when they were ready. The children were keen for her attention which she gave in abundance, making certain they were her priority.
My little one made so many fantastic memories with her, which he still talks about. She would take him on day trips to the farm or zoo, music lessons and walks around the local area to explore. I enjoyed the updates she would send so I could see what adventures they were on.
Carol would happily listen to any of our worries about my son’s development and medical condition. She would offer advice and strategies we could use together and would evaluate how these were working. It felt like a partnership raising our son and we all miss her terribly.
They say people come into your life for a reason and we certainly felt like this with Carol. Your little one’s life will certainly be enhanced with Carol as a part of it, in fact your whole family’s will be.
