Over the years we have built a fantastic relationship with Nicky as our eldest daughter was looked after by her for almost three years and left Nicky’s to start school a couple of years ago - we honestly couldn’t have wished for a better childminder! So when I was due to return to work after having our second daughter, we were delighted that Nicky was available to look after her too!

Nicky has been our second daughter’s childminder for over a year now and we couldn’t be happier. Nicky takes the children to play groups, soft play centres and other outings regularly (when not in a pandemic!) and she is always looking for ways to entertain, occupy and keep the children active. She offers a wide range of activities for the children to take part in both in the home and in the garden, including crafts, baking and role play and regularly updates and replenishes toys, resources and play equipment.

Since been at Nicky's, our daughter has grown in confidence and has developed a range of skills. Nicky's knowledge of Early Years is excellent and it is clear that she is passionate about her vocation. We are kept up to date with our daughter's progression and development. She communicates with us throughout the day and sends us lots of pictures too. This makes us so happy to see our daughter always smiling and in such safe hands. Nicky offers nutritional meals and snacks throughout the day and ensures the children are well fed. All activities, meals and skills are written in a daily diary which is sent home too.

It is a comfort to know that our daughter is looked after by such a caring, loving and trustworthy person - our girls consider Nicky a member of our extended family so we can’t recommend her highly enough. Thank you Nicky for everything!
