Amazing Childminder

My son Raphael (2.5years) has been looked after by Celma twice weekly since June 2012. I was lucky to have had Celma recommended to me by a close friend of mine. Anyone who has looked after 2 sets of triplets has to be good at looking after children. Celma is very passionate about her job and really enjoys it. She is full of energy, fun, and organised which is needed to look after kids all day.

I live in Crystal Palace and went to see a number of nurseries in the area. I felt at as my son was 2 years old they weren't able to give him the 1:1 care I was looking for or the flexibility with childcare.

Celma has a lovely clean house which is easy to get to and there is always a parking space outside. On the first day, Raphy immediately ran into the front room and started to play. Her front room is sunny and brightly decorated and filled with a variety of toys, books, and craft items. Since he has been with Celma he has made friends with the other children she looks after, learnt to set the table for lunch, washes his hands before eating, and tidies up after play time. He eats breakfast there and a home cooked lunch. There are always plenty of healthy snacks, such as fruit, for him to eat. If I needed Celma to look after him an extra day or morning this can be arranged. She organises art and crafts for them to do, he has been on occasional outings to the Horniman Museum, Science Museum and even been to see a kids movie in the cinema. When the weather is good they always go out to a park and when it rains they visit play groups or the library. Celma also has a garden he plays in.

Celma lets me know what Raphy has been up to and keeps all his art work in a folder for me to collect. I made the best decision putting him with her instead of a nursery. He often comes home singing a new song or tells me a story of what he did that day with the other children.

I feel that I am very fortunate to have had Celma recommended to me. Raphy is very happy to be there (and often doesn't want to leave!). Can't recommend her highly enough. A wonderful childminder.
