Hello! I am 42 and a mum of two amazing teenagers aged 15 and 17.
I am a kind, caring, fun and very smiley nanny/childrens yoga teacher with over 20 years experience working with children dating back to 1999. My Experience
Since 1999, I've been immersed in the world of childcare, gaining invaluable experience and insights along the way. I've had the privilege of witnessing and contributing to the growth and development of children ages 3 months to 12 years whilst working in private day nurseries, school nurseries, private nanny for 7 different families and as an after school yoga teacher. I took on diverse responsibilities such as managing household routines, preparing meals, and organizing engaging activities tailored to each child's interests and needs. Moreover, I've delved into the realm of holistic well-being through my own yoga business. At West Byfleet Infant's and Junior School, I've had the pleasure of sharing mindfulness and relaxation techniques with children through after-school clubs. This experience has not only shaped my approach to childcare but has also enriched my understanding of child development and well-being.
My Qualifications
I hold a nvq2 equivalent qualification known as a CCE. I am Ofsted registered, insured, first aid trained, and I'm on the update service for my DBS. Over the years I've attended many additional training courses to further my education in childcare, and to keep me up to date with the most current methods in childcare and the early years foundation stages EYFS.
