My daughter started with Jo when she had just turned 1 years old and I had made the decision to go back to work. The first week that she started was tough and we had a few tears first thing, 5 minutes after dropping her off I would receive a text from Jo saying she's absolutely fine, along with various pictures through the day. During those early stages we relied on family to pick our daughter up so Jo took it upon herself to fill in a diary every single day of what she'd done, what she'd eaten, how long she slept for etc. - This really helped me in the evenings.
Jo always found things to do with the children, they would often go to the park, playgroup or library groups. She also has so many toys and creative items in her house to keep them entertained all day long.
Over the 2 years my daughter was with Jo, there was only 1 day that she messaged me saying she couldn't have Thea and that was simply because her daughter had a sickness bug. I think that just goes to show how committed she is to her job.
My daughter loved every minute with Jo. She started as the youngest and left as the eldest on the days she was there and we were both heartbroken when she had to leave to go to pre-school. Even now that my daughter has started school, Jo still messages asking how she's getting on (that's the type of person she is). She became a good friend and I would often stay to have a chat in the morning.
Leaving your child to go back to work is such a hard decision and Jo made our lives and our decision so much easier by following the way that we parent and never judging our parenting techniques. I honestly could not recommend her enough, she is brilliant with children and an lovely person in general. She has definitely made a lasting impression on our family.
