If Pauline has space, take it!!
I could not recommend Pauline more. She has looked after both of my boys and never in the last year and a half have they been anything other than blissfully happy with her. She has different and interesting activities for them to do each day, adhering to their developmental stage. It has been a joy to watch my boys thrive under her care and leaving her is one of the hardest things we've had to do!
There is a strong family feel in her home, it's warm, clean and full of the most wonderful toys! Each child has their own cot, in their own room so they are properly rested and refreshed. Mealtimes are around the kitchen table which only encourages great table manners and a healthy relationship with food.
Pauline always goes the extra mile to keep the children in her care occupied and learning. They go to all sorts of playgroups, museums, Vauxhall City Farm, they once visited the fire station, parks, playgrounds and libraries. (all pre Covid, but even now they are doing as much as they can within the current government guidelines). She grows fruit, veg and sunflowers which she encourages the children to help with by watering them, observing them grow, harvesting, and of course eating them!
On a rainy day they are kept amused with craft, building blocks, messy play, reading and singing. My son is constantly singing nursery rhymes and songs, all thanks to Pauline.
I could go on all day about how brilliant she is! She is heaven sent and our whole family will miss her when we move out of London.
Pauline is amazing and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She was my son's childminder for just under a year, starting when he was 9.5 months old. She cares deeply about the child's needs and development, and you could not ask for a more attentive or involved carer for your child!
Pauline handled my son's settling in period and my transition back to work with warmth and sensitivity -- she let me spend a lot of time at her home settling my son in, and was constantly in touch in the early days, sharing pictures and updates. This was so comforting and confidence building and let me get back into the swing of work quite quickly.
Throughout the time she cared for my son she was very communicative: sharing pictures daily, and providing detailed daily updates about what my son had done during the day with her and how he was developing. And every day was packed with great activities: songs, reading, water/sand play, 'home corner', toys and lots of outings to nearby play groups and parks/swings.
My son flourished while in Pauline's care. She's focused on supporting a child's development, and is very engaged with all the children in her care. My son became adventurous, confident and communicative during his time with her.
Pauline also took wonderful care of my son on days when he was feeling poorly, giving him cuddles and attention, and keeping me informed about his condition.

More importantly, we all came to love and trust Pauline like a family member. We've had to move away but all still miss Pauline very much! You cannot do better in terms of finding a childminder.
Snap this lady up. She's a gem.
When I met Pauline at a Brixton kids singing session, it was obvious she was very good at her job. She was animated, singling along, ensuring the children she cared for were safe and happy and learning. Other childminders there were sitting on their phones.
Pauline is really keen to ensure kids learn in a fun way and our son has come along in leaps and bounds in her care. He has new words and songs all the time. He really enjoys being at her house and love playing with Pauline's daughter, who is a really lovely little girl.
What I like about Pauline too is that she doesn't take on too many children, so the kids get more individual care.
Sadly we are leaving the area, but if I had my way, I'd bring Pauline and her lovely family right along with us. Highly recommended.
Pauline looked after our daughter Leela from age 1 to 2. We will forever be grateful for how Pauline gave Leela such a wonderful start in life, she was very loving towards Leela, and really brought her life-skills on in a stimulating environment.
Leela was always so happy to see Pauline and looked forward to going to her house, Pauline's daughter was like an older sister to Leela... if we hadn't moved out of the area then we would have kept Leela with Pauline for much longer.
