Couldn't have asked for more!

We feel so fortunate to have been able to send our daughter to Janine! When I started looking for childcare, our daughter was just over 1year old and the nurseries I looked at just didn't fill me with enough confidence. However, as soon as I stepped into Janines lovely welcoming home and started talking to her, I was instantly put at ease and knew that our daughter would have the best of care here.
Janine herself is very professional, warm, loving and passionate about her job. Shes very reassuring and gives great regular feedback. I've felt like I can approach her with anything and she's given me so much good advise over the time my daughter has been there. She has done wonders with our rather demanding little girl and really allowed her to flourish and grow. We can't thank her enough for the wonderful care and attention she's given her.
Her home is very clean, tidy and well organised and her garden is a fabulous area for play/learning/exploring! Her children are just wonderful and whenever I've seen them, they love being around the little ones.

Fantastic quality and fun childminder

Janine has extended knowledge of early years development and manages this in a fun creative loving home from home setting . My husband is a dr and I work with families when they r having their children teaching parenting and I would not hesitate to leave my children in her care as I would know they would be safe happy and treated as individuals with their own needs being met . Her setting and resources are great for encouraging development . They are creative and constantly changing . Her flexibility is very good for Drs hours . She is very approachable when discussing issues around your child and caters for all development needs.

We couldn't be happier

We feel so lucky to to have found Janine almost 5 years ago. My eldest daughter spent over 2 very happy years in Janine's care- and our youngest is still with her now. Both children have loved their time at Janine's- it really is a wonderfully warm and caring home-from-home environment where the children are welcomed as part of the family. The home and garden are perfect spaces for little ones- impressively tidy and organised but with lots of inviting toys and fun spaces to explore. Janine always has a wonderful activity of some sort planned- from baking to art and craft, to pond dipping, pooh sticks or teddy bears picnics in the woods.

I've watched both my girls thrive and their confidence blossom from time spent with Janine. I'm also grateful for the time she has spent giving us much needed advice on dealing with behaviour issues we are having at home. Janine provides frequent feedback either by way of home link book, text messages/photos throughout the day telling us what they're getting up to, or phone calls to chat about anything she may think is important. Overall we are very happy and feel very fortunate indeed and we would recommend Janine wholeheartedly.

A review from a very happy parent!

I have 14 month old son who is looked after by Janine Wheeler and I am extremely pleased with the care that Janine provides. Given my son's young age, I was keen to find childcare which could offer him a 'home from home' experience, and I can honestly say that I have found this with Janine. It is massively reassuring to know that I can go off to work in the morning knowing that my child is being well cared for.

From my first discussion with Janine, it quickly became apparent that she has genuine enthusiasm and love for her job and that she provides a nurturing and stimulating environment which takes in to account the individual needs of each child. Her home is warm, welcoming, thoroughly risk assessed and child friendly and her own two children are delightful. They are clearly at ease with the children whom Janine cares for. So far, my child has enjoyed participating in the various activities that Janine offers, including arts and crafts and nature walks, so much so that when I have collected him at the end of the day he is suitably exhausted with a smile on his face!

I find Janine to be approachable and easy to talk to and I feel confident that, should I ever need to discuss any issues that arise with regards to her care of my child, then I could do this with ease and that they would be acknowledged and taken on board. Janine has also been great at providing updates throughout the day, including text messages to say what my son has been doing or how he is and some lovely pictures of him playing, giving me a flavour of his day.

From my perspective, the whole process of agreeing a contract with Janine went very smoothly. There was a large amount of the necessary paperwork, including policies/procedures and parental consent forms to sift through and sign, however I found Janine's thoroughness and attention to detail to be reassuring as there was nothing crucial that appeared to be have omitted and all my questions were answered.

All round, we are very pleased and would highly recommend Janine.

Feedback

My husband and I consider ourselves very fortunate in having Janine as our childminder for the past 2 and a half years. Janine provides a wonderful home from home setting which is always very welcoming, cheerful, clean and tidy.

The variety of play and learning activities offered within Janine's care are very much tailored to the children's interests and our child has thrived in this environment. As parents we are informed daily of all the different things our child has been doing and learning which we really enjoy hearing about. Our child loves going to Janine's which is a great testament to her and we consider her to be a very important part of our family.

We would recommend Janine without hesitation!

Fantastic childminder

Janine is a very professional and personable childminder with a home from home environment. The children are loved and cared for to a very high standard indeed. I feel very relaxed knowing my children are in her care and felt supported settling them in. I continue to be kept up to date with all developments/progress of my children and enjoy regular feedback. Janine offers a diverse range of activities at home and away from home if the opportunity arises,which the children absolutely love. I am delighted with the relationship our family has with Janine and would highly recommend her to other families. Thank you Janine.
