My little one, T, has been cared for by Zahra since he was 11 months old. She is a wonderful childminder, nurturing his development with care and kindness. It was important to me that T was looked after in a home-from-home setting. And when Zahra welcomed us into her setting for our first visit, T and I both knew we were in the right place. He was really relaxed and happy there, and so was I.
Zahra takes great care in rotating the activities children have available and involves them in suitable, constructive play indoors and outside (in an awesome garden that T loves). T's language, social and motor skills have come on so well since he's been with her.
Some of things we appreciate most are being kept up-to-date each day with photos and videos, Zahra sharing details of T's achievements and funny stories about what he's been up to, the stable and loving feel of the setting, the nutritious home-cooked food Zahra serves and the relationship he's formed with Zahra and the other children. T comes home calm and happy and tell us about all the things he's been up to. We're often jealous!
