Sophie looked after my 2 year old for just under a year. The setting is wonderful and spacious with a lovely garden. I had never left either of my children until my eldest went to preschool so was very anxious leaving my youngest and choosing a setting had been difficult, but Sophie was warm, welcoming and accommodating from the very first meeting. My daughter settled well and enjoyed the variety of activities on offer from baking and crafts to days out at National trust and Dinton pastures! I liked that they undertook activities we would have been doing as a family. I felt very happy in the knowledge that my daughter was safe and content with Sophie. It was great to be updated daily online with pictures and a summary of their day together. I would wholeheartedly recommend Sophie for those seeking outstanding childcare in Maidenhead.

Today my little boy left Sophie to go on to nursery school, we are absolutely heart broken to be leaving Sophie, he has been there since he was 11 months. Sophie provides a wonderful setting, as a nervous parent going back to work I was so reluctant to leave my baby anywhere but the moment I met Sophie I knew it would be fine. She is responsible and relaxed and my little boy just loved her. I will really miss the enriching days out Sophie would lead, her frequent visits to all the lovely local parks/playgrounds/play centres in and around Maidenhead were often the highlights of my son's week. We could not have asked for a better child minder for our son and would recommend Sophie to anyone in Maidenhead looking for a child minder.

Sophie has been looking after my little boy since he was 11 months old - he is about to turn 3. She provides exceptional care, I am completely confident in her approach and setting, I couldn't ask for more. I can trust that my child is well looked after and the communication between us is outstanding. My little by is confident and happy in her setting and barely even says goodbye as he bounds through the door. I love receiving photos every day of what he has got up to and managing everything online. Sophie takes the children out frequently and they get to play in a variety of local places, they often do crafts/cooking too. I am so lucky to have found her and will be very sad to leave when we move on to pre school.

Sophie has been looking after my son since he was 14 months old. He's now 2 & a half and loves Sophie and her childminding days. They are varied and outdoorsy... he has developed well over the past year and a bit and I am looking forward to being able to know Sophie will be around for my soon to be born second son. If you want to ask anything specific I would be happy to talk to you.

Sophie looked after my 1.5 year old for 2 weeks. We pictures of her and plenty of feedback which was great, we were very happy from start to finish with Sophie services

Sophie Strickland has been an excellent childminder for my son. From day one she made my son feel safe and secure with her and developed this close bond so now whenever he knows he is going to Sophie, he is all excited and can't wait to see her.
She has been very flexible and accommodating, and very reassuring.
She has been a friend and a play partner for my son always taking him to all sorts of new and exciting places and he always loved his stay at hers. Whenever I went to collect him he was always very happy and calm child.
She also has lots of outdoor space in her house and all sorts of interactive toys to play with.
She always updated me with photos and daily reports both written and verbal on every single occasion my son stayed with her.
I would highly recommend Sophie to anyone and wish her well in future. Thank you Sophie!!

Sophie Strickland (Sprinkles childcare) has been child-minding for my 2 boys (4.5 years and 2 years) for the past 12 months. My contract with Sophie is to be terminated as my eldest is due to start school and I have decided to take some time off work, so I no longer have a childcare requirement.
My husband and I have always been extremely pleased with the service that Sophie has offered. Sophie is very caring and has embraced the boys into her own family environment. Sophie is trustworthy, committed and we have felt very comfortable in leaving our children in her care.
More importantly our children love being with Sophie and both settled very quickly. This is testament to Sophie’s ability to offer them a structured yet relaxed and fun routine. My eldest attends pre-school during the mornings that he is with Sophie – and Sophie was able to offer us the flexibility to provide drop off / pick up’s.
My youngest started at just 12 months old and has built a strong bond with Sophie during this time. I know he will miss Sophie and spending time with her daughter.
When my eldest started with Sophie he had to transition from a part time nursery environment together with being at home with me during my maternity leave. He did this with ease and very much enjoys the “home environment” that Sophie offers. Sophie has a son of similar age and he and my child have become good friends.
Despite the age differences between the children in her care, Sophie manages to provide craft, visits, and entertainment that is suitable for all. Both my children talk very fondly of Sophie and enjoy telling me about their days.
I would highly recommend Sophie to others and if my own circumstances changed I wouldn’t hesitate to put my boys under her charge again.

My 3 1/2 year old son has been in Sophie's care for the past 2 years and has loved every minute of it. He is due to leave to go to big school in September and I know he is really going to miss his time with Sophie and her children and the adventures they all have.
Sophie was recommended by a friend and we couldn't be happier. She has always given healthy nutritious food and snacks, taken him to music groups, playgroups and on various outings. He has come home with lots of arty crafty bits n bobs but most importantly a smile on his face.
A learning journal of his time with Sophie has been on going since day 1 and its great to see what he gets up to and how he is developing when I'm at work. I also receive a daily report on his activities.
Sophie is caring, reliable and flexible. A wonderful childminder who I would strongly recommend.

My 1 year old son and 5 year old daughter are childminded by Sophie and we are so pleased with the provision and care she provides our children.
Both of the children settled very quickly and are alway happy to go to Sophie's, the trouble comes when trying to get them to leave!
I have used another childminder in the past and I am amazed at how little information and communication we had from her, whereas Sophie keeps all records up to date, writes daily in the childrens's home link diary and has kept a lovely Learning Journey for my son as he develops new skills.
My son has a food intollerence and Sophie has always provided excellent meals for him whilst taking his intollerence into account.
We were thrilled to find Sophie and would reccommend anyone looking for a childminder to meet Sophie.
