Sian has been really brilliant with our little boy who will turn 2 in the summer. Our previous childminder unfortunately moved away from the area and she recommended Sian to us highly, as they used to work together and attended the playgroups together. For this reason we didn't hesitate to go with Sian which proved to be a great decision.
Our boy doesn't talk much yet, but we could see that he returned each day in a cheerful mood and obviously had a good time. Sian has great facilities including lots of space in the house as well as a garden area (which we don't have access to living in a flat) and she was very good checking things like sunscreen.
As I am working during the week I really appreciated Sian's reliability as there were almost no days a schedule needed to be changed and she gave lots of advance notice about things. It's an excellent location with easy parking and I was also able to cycle along dedicated cycle paths from Bushey to Carpender's Park which the boy enjoyed and was a safe way to deliver and pick him up.
I am sure our boy will miss being at Sian's, however we will be moving ourselves soon over the summer. We highly recommend Sian to anyone who is looking in this area.

Sian looked after my little boy from the age of ten months to 2 years old. We were gutted to leave however change of circumstances meant we had to. Although he was only part time, he flourished in Sians care. The activities were wonderful and he always came out with a smile on his face. Communication was always excellent and pictures were received throughout the day of what he was getting up to. As a first time mum this really helped put my mind at ease.
I especially loved seeing what he had been up to through his learning journey. Sian is always very approachable, which again helped to put my mind at ease. Highly recommended.

I could not recommend Sian more highly. My three children (aged 8, 6 and 2) love going to her. She looks after my youngest every day and drops and picks up my two older children from school. My youngest enjoys going to play group, playing in the garden, art activities and theme days. The older two love coming home from school to a warm and friendly home; playing in the garden, doing art and craft or chilling after a busy day at school. Sian listens to what they like doing and plans activities accordingly. As busy working parents, we could not be happier with the service Sian offers. My children consider her house like a second home and she treats them like they are part of her family. We have constant communication at pick up and drop off and Sian also provides a fabulous learning journey so we know the range of activities they have been doing.

My now 1 year old son has been with Sian for almost 6 months and she has been a wonderful and supportive childcarer for him. This is his first childcare setting upon my returning to work and Sian was so welcoming and communicative in making me feel at ease.
My son gets so excited at drop off when we walk up to her house in the morning, which makes things so much easier knowing he is happy and secure to be left with her.
Sian is very communicative in her approach, positive and relaxed, and I do believe kids pick up on that and it makes the whole setting a happy place.
Can’t recommend her highly enough for being both professional and loving at the same time.

Both of my children have been with Sian since they were 1, the eldest is now 5.
My children see Sian & her children as extended family & really enjoy the time they spend there.
Not only is the setting, homely, safe, fun & currently very Covid safe, Sian works with the children to develop key skills getting them school ready. She is also really flexible which has been a life-saver at times.
She is very supportive when the children need potty training or if the children need extra support.
It has been amazing to have someone who is just as committed as I am to support in raising my children to be happy & healthy.
Really good choice, you won’t find better.

In 2016 Sian was my sons childminder for one year and could not thank her enough. Last year my circumstances changed so needed some help with school pick up. I have ask her and she did not hesitate to help me, which I appreciated very much.
I have found Sian through this website and after so many years she is still helping us.
My son enjoyed playing in the house and garden and taking part in activities. When weather permitted lots of outside activities where he had lots of fun.
I am happy when my son reminds me of nice memories he had with Sian and others.
Kids are enjoying in a clean and safe environment with lots of educating toys.
I have take the best decision to take my son to a professional childminder which I can see her input in my son today. So can say that thanks to Sian my son is confident and ready anytime to any arising situation.
Could not thank and recommend Sian enough for future.

Sian looked after my 2 year old boy and we were very delighted with level of care she provided to my boy.
She provides a happy, and supportive environment which really aids the child and encourages them to develop confidence.
My boy learnt quite alot under her care. Although it was only part time i.e. 10 hours a week, my boy used to absolutely love going to her care. He used to actually look forward to his childcare days with Sian. Once home he use tell about how spent day with Sian - painting, playing in the garden and mostly playing with her 2 lovely daughters. He used to absolutely love it.
Sian is very easy going, flexible and always happy to help. I work in london, so she was always happy to help to look after sharin overtime when I missed my train or if it was delayed.
We enjoyed all of the arts and crafts at Christmas time and mother's day.
The care she provides is well above 5 star rating and I highly recommend Sian if you are looking for a Childminder, who is not just briiliant but do not hesitate to go that extra mile if it helps.

Sian looked after my then 2.5 year old last September. My previous childminder suddenly couldn't do it anymore and my daughter did not settle with another one I found. It was the start of the school term (I am a teacher) and I was desperate to get my child settled - but in a place she was happy in.
I found Sian on the recommendation of my sister who had seen her out and about with the children and was really impressed with her. I was not disappointed. Sian possesses the rare quality of 100% professionalism with a caring, loving approach to children. I used to drop my child off smiling every day and come back to find her smiling. I cannot recommend her enough and wouldn't hesitate to use her again in the future when I again return to work from maternity leave.

My son Luke has been going to Sian since the beginning of this year and he is now 18 months old.
I am a full time Children's nurse and knowing that Luke is being looked after during this time is one less thing for me to worry about, especially as I know he loves going to Sian.
Since going to Sian my son has become very sociable and his speech has improved dramatically, I believe that this has been due to mixing with other children during the day both at playgroups/activities and at home.
When I was on maternity leave Luke had become a mummy's boy but since I have returned back to work he has now become more independent in doing his own things, which I believe is due to being around the other children.
If you are looking for a friendly, dedicated, fun loving mummy figure for your child then Sian is the perfect childminder.

Sian has looked after my daughter Maisie since she was 12 weeks old, she is now almost 8 years old. Maisie loves her time with Sian and her family and has become best friends with her daughter. Maisie is included in all sorts of family activities and has loads of fun, so much so that she often doesn't want to come home at the end of the day, it's reassuring that she is happy there and is being well looked after. The children at Sian's have a great time, she has lots of space for them to play and she makes lovely meals and gets the kids involved in baking and preparing meals. Sian is very patient and calm with the childen, she makes them feel welcome and comfortable in her home and she always has time for a chat with the parents at pick up. If you are looking for a childminder who cares about the kids she looks after, who can provide a welcoming and stimulating environment, then I highly recommend you give Sian a call..
