Our little one has been going to Carmela's for over a year now and we are so pleased we found you.
The effort and attention that everyone puts in is exceptional! I never worry about leaving little one as I know he will be looked after to a high standard and have an amazing day. Little one is always so excited to go and see his friends and bubbly when he gets home.
Carmela provides such a vast range of activities for them to do and get involved in, little one has learnt and developed so much from going here.
You get given a diary which tells you everything about their day which is great to see and read what little one has enjoyed and been up to.
Carmela and her team are just so caring and loving I wouldn't go anywhere else.

If you are looking for a thoughtful and caring home from home environment then look no further. Carmela and Simon have looked after my little boy since he was a year old and I can not recommend them highly enough. My second child will be starting in September at only 6 months old. Carmela provides a fun learning environment for all the children. My little boy loves going here and will be sad to leave to start school in September.
Carmela and Simon always go the extra mile hosting firework nights and Halloween parties for the children. They really are like an extension of our family.

Carmela has been an absolute godsend!
She has been looking after both of our children for the past 6.5 years. My son (now seven and at school) still absolutely loves going to see her, which is testament to her inspired approach to childcare. Still caring for my daughter, aged four, she provides an amazing welcoming environment where nothing is too much trouble, the children are allowed to play as they wish and are shown as much love and compassion as though they were her own children.
Together with her husband Simon, she encourages the children to try new things by learning through play, including cooking, dancing, learning about road safety, reading and writing, painting, messy play, singing and generally having lots of fun! Particular highlights for both my children have been the regular trips out and about, down to the river to learn about nature, and to other group activities including beach visits, Monkey Gym and Twinkletoes. The trips involving bus rides are the best!
We are so grateful to Carmela for the love and care she has shown our children, and could not have picked, nor wished for, a better person to have looked after our babies for all of these years.

If you are looking for a childminder in the area, then look no further than Carmella. She is simply amazing. She has cared for my two children (now 3 and 5) for the past 4 years and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is calm and organised and instantly puts the children at ease. She has always put their best interests first and some how manages to strike a balance between offering them a fun and relaxing environment, whilst at the same time, always being in control of the situation. She provides a loving, homely environment, cooking nutritious meals and providing relaxation and play so they can get the most out of their day.
Carmela follows the EYFS curriculum and comes up with so many fantastic new ideas of how to make learning fun and part of the children's everyday lives, she also gives us parents great tips on how we can carry this on at home. I'm so amazed at how well my girls have progressed and she really put in so much extra time and effort getting my eldest ready to start school with confidence.
During the holidays, no day was the same and she takes them on the most amazing trips, either for long walks, picnics at the beach or visits to places such as Alice in wonderland and Honeybrook Farm and that's on top of the usual weekly outings to the library, local parks, children's centre and nature tots.
The girls absolutely adore being with Carmela and feel part of her extended ‘family’, they are more than happy to go to her house because they know it will be jam-packed full of activities. Since moving house, we do a 1 hour round trip so our youngest can still continue at Carmela's, with no thoughts of moving her. To us it's 100% worth while to keep her somewhere she's so happy, comfortable and loves to be.
From my side, nothing is ever too much trouble for Carmela – she is always flexible to fit around my work schedule and would extend her hours to look after the children at short notice. She is always willing to help and go the extra mile. She is very good at communicating with parents, uploading pictures to the parents secure Facebook page, telling us all about the things they've been up to during the day and also through there personal daily diary's.
Carmela is a true star and I cannot thank her enough for the love and compassion that she shows to my children. Thank you Carmela x

My little one has been with Carmela since he was one year of age. He loves spending time there! She offers a happy, safe, and stimulating environment. She's always positive, creative and full of ideas for a variety of activities indoors and outdoors. They enjoy reading, cooking, playing instruments, painting, arts and crafts... they even grow vegetables and flowers! They are often out in the garden, or walk to the park or children centre.
I couldn't be happier with my choice and would definitely recommend Carmela to anybody looking for the best care for their little ones!
