Cathy and Davy looked after our son full time for over 3 years, starting from when he was 6 months to almost 4 years old. They helped with weening, potty training, toilet training and made sure he was happy and safe. They often took him to play groups and to the park and became a part of the family, checking on him whenever he was off sick. I fully recommend them and will be keeping in touch. The only reason we stopped having them as childminders was because we moved out of Edinburgh.

Cathy has been amazing with our daughter. She has gone to Cathy's from 10 months to 3 years and Cathy has provided exceptional care throughout. She has created a loving, fun, stimulating and caring environment for the children. The days were filled with fun activities, ideal for our highly active and enquisitive daughter. She really has felt like part of the family. We couldn't recommend her enough.

Cathy took care of our 18 month old daughter for 6 months. We were worried because she didn't settle very well with a local nursery and we didn't have a good experience. Cathy was amazing from day one. She's obviously super experienced as a childminder. She helped our daughter settle very quickly, has been really superb in helping her with regular naps and has really improved her eating. Our daughter always leaves Cathy's with a big smile on her face and she still asks us "Are we going to Cathy's?!?". She honestly feels like a family friend.
I couldn't recommend Cathy highly enough. We will definitely use her services in the future.

Cathy has been great with our son Elias, who she took care of over 6 months. We got daily updates with pictures, and he was always happy to spend time with her.

My little boy went to Cathy for a while and I know he was very well looked after. She would always up date me with his day and just come across as a very kind and caring person. I knew my son was being cared for and would always come home well fed and happy .
If your looking for someone to settle your mind that your child is in good hands then She’s definitely your women. Highly recommend.

Even though Cathy has looked after my son for a short period of time, I found her a great childminder. Her 20 years of experience speaks for itself, she's very knowledgeable, professional and caring, She would always send me pictures of my son's day and give me an update on what he's been doing, his nap times, play times and also what he ate. I'd definitely recommend using her services!

Cathy has been amazing in caring for my son given that he has additional needs. My son always smiles when I drop him off at Cathy's. She has been a star in taking good care of him. She will update us with what he has eaten and their activities for the day. Besides, she has no issues taking Yogan in with the her in the days that we need Yogan to be taken care of on an emergency days.

If you are looking for a first class childminder then look no further , Cathy is absolutely AMAZING in every way.
My son went to Cathy’s for about a year and a half and I can say that I had no worries about leaving him in Cathy’s care.
Cathy takes the kids out for walks if its a nice day or takes them to the park, Cathy also takes them to a playgroup a couple of times a week.
If they are indoors then they have a mountain of different toys to play with.
Cathy sends pictures usually every day of what your child has been doing that day, which brightens your day.
I can honestly say Cathy is one the most honest, genuine, kind and caring people I have ever met.
She will treat your child like they are her own and you will feel at ease as soon as you leave them with Cathy.
If I ever need childcare for my son again then I wouldn’t go anywhere else but here.
I could go on and on about Cathy and how wonderful she is all day. I just know that we made the right choice for childcare when we found her. And I’m so glad we did find her.

Cathy is amazing. Both my children have been cared for by her and I wouldn’t have asked anyone else. Not only did she care and love both my children like they were her own she became a very close friend. I cant recommend her enough. Xx

Cathy stepped in to cover childcare for our daughter over the summer holidays. She always took our daughter out on sunny days to the park and the playgroup and sent photos to us every day of what they've been up to. She's got loads of great toys for the kids, fed them well, and was flexible when we suggested a change. Would definitely recommend her.

Cathy looked after our son during the lockdown. She is warm and caring person. He settled very quickly and you could tell he enjoyed his time in Cathy House, he was really excited to go back in there ever day! We received many pictures showing us what he was up to during the day. It was great to see him so happy and engaged with a wide variety of activities.

Cathy looked after our 5 year old daughter the past couple of months while schools were closed. She was a lifeline for us as we both had to work. Cathy is super friendly and totally reliable and trustworthy. She really cares about the kids she looks after, cooks whatever food they (or we) ask for and takes them out for walks and cycle rides too. She sent lovely photos of our daughter enjoying herself which was very reassuring at a stressful time for all of us. Many thanks Cathy!

Hi, I had to come up from London to Edinburgh for work purposes and I had my 1 year old son and 2 year old daughter with me.
I got in touch with Cathy and from our first conversation, I knew my children would be in great hands.
She was happy to take care of both my children, which worked out brilliantly for me.
My children both have quite specific dietary requirements but this was no issue for Cathy, she went above and beyond to make sure my kids were well fed, to all the requirements necessary.
My son had become clingy since lockdown and I wasn’t sure if he would stay but while in Cathy’s care, he was absolutely fine, which speaks volumes as to how great Cathy is.
I was constantly kept updated with pictures and videos and at the end of the day a complete food and activity diary for each of my children. She had taken temperatures at regular times during the day, monitoring the children to make sure they were ok.
If I ever am back in Edinburgh again, before booking anything else I would get in touch with Cathy first.
She really is amazing at what she does and I felt at ease with my children being with her.

My son Lucas was with Cathy for his first couple of years when I when back to work before he started nursery. He absolutely loved going there and I loved getting updates both when I picked him up and sometimes during the day (the odd photo was very welcomed). Cathy was like a second mum to Mum to Lucas and a great support to me. She will be a family friend to us for life. We found it very useful that Cathy was willing to keep a diary for what Lucas had eaten, whether he had a dirty nappy, etc - he's non-verbal so wouldn't be able to tell us himself.

My husband and I are both self employed and have 2 children and are often changing our schedule. Cathy is always really communicative and flexible. My daughter has been at Cathys almost full time for over a year and my son gets picked up from nursery school and stays in the evenings until I finish. They are always happy, fed and have met some lovely friends at Cathy's. I would recommend her to anyone, you can tell she really cares about the children she looks after, we always get a Halloween, Christmas and a birthday surprise which the kids love! If you need a safe and loving home for your children, with a exciting environment to boot, Cathy would definitely get my vote!

Cathy is an absolute gem of a lady. She minded my daughter from 18 months old until 4 and a half years old. Helped potty train her and helped with her feeding habits. My daughter loved being at Cathy's. The children are well looked after in her care I would trust her with my life. She has the patience of a saint. She always has time for parents aswell. Even when I had to work on my daughters birthday she made her feel so special with cake and surprises. She cares for the children as if they were her own a very special lady to me. Cant thank her enough for what she had done for not only my daughter but me aswell xx

My son has been with Cathy for over a year now and I cannot praise her enough! She is so trusting which was a big factor for me and she is the most caring person I have ever met. She has taught my son from right and wrong, helped him from coming off his baby bottles, not using his dummy and is currently helping with potty training. Cathy goes over and above her job and treats my son as if he were her own. She is always so pleasant and friendly, with being my first child she has given me great advice throughout and she has become my go to person when I ever need help or advice. She keeps my son busy and entertained every day, teaching him new things every day. Cathy and her family have grown a great relationship with Leo and he loves going to her! I would highly recommend Cathy without a doubt as she is everything you want and need in a childminder. Thank you for everything Cathy, you are truly amazing!
