Fantastic and friendly ?

Norma looked after my little boy Stanley for five weeks, 10 hours a day, when I went back to work as a teacher after mat leave and just before the school summer holidays started. He was around 9 months old, mainly breastfed on demand with little interest in bottle feeding or solids, and used to being with his mum all day!! Considering this challenge, Norma was fantastic and Stanley's experience with her really helped him to mature, especially with regards to drinking from a bottle and eating solids. She was so patient with him, trying food and milk at intervals throughout the day, and never getting annoyed when he whined continually after a long day! Norma was super reliable and always available on time at drop off and pick up. She was also flexible if I needed to collect Stanley at slightly different times. He had a great time with her, meeting other children and visiting play groups and soft play centres. After only a few days with her he changed from crying and trying to hang on to my leg when I left him, to happily going over to play with toys in the corner. Some days when I went to collect him I'm sure he would have rather stayed there for longer and played!! I would definitely recommend Norma as an experienced and excellent child minder. I completely put my trust in her and I was not disappointed. Thank you; Stanley misses you! ?
