The very best!!

On our first visit to katja house with our then 9 month old daughter l(now 6) we knew instantly that katja was the right person for our firstborn. We felt so welcome in her home and katja approach to Elsie and the other children in her presence was nonetheless everything you wanted from a childminder, a person who is kind, patient, fun and genuinely a lovely person. Katja would always take her to the local playgroup, outings at parks regularly and arts and crafts was always a daily set up, I have some lovely precious pieces from my daughter made in katja's setting. I had my son in 2018 and was in katja care for only a few months, unfortunately we relocated as a family down south and I only wish i could have packed katja to come with us!! I dont think I will find anyone like her.

Simply the best

Katja is quite simply everything a parent could wish for in a childminder. She looked after my son for 2 1/2 years (since he was 11 months old) and during this time his development, most notably his confidence and independence grew immensely.

Katja provides a real home from home environment and truly took care of my son as if one of her own. She has taught, loved, nurtured and cared for my little boy - helping him (and me!) through first steps, potty training, toddler tantrums and more. I received dozens of updates, pictures and videos and had no doubt he was spending quality time whilst in her care.

A consummate professional, Katja is also an incredibly warm, loving and empathetic person. Her flexibility even at short notice and support and kindness she showed me as well as my son was something I valued immensely.

My son looked forward to seeing Katja every day and would often become tearful when it was time to go home! Any family would be lucky to have her and I don’t take it for granted how lucky we were to have had such an amazing childminder in our lives. Highly highly recommended.
