Our 2.5yr old loved Ashley's nursery, especially the outings, outside play space and the many activities in the day. The intimate setting allowed her to acclimatize quickly and make friends. Ashley and all the staff were welcoming, warm, engaging and you can feel the care they had for all the kids.
Our son was with Ashley from 10 months until nearly 3 and was always so happy. He loved all the outings, especially the zoo and made a really tight group of friends. It’s the perfect hybrid between nanny and nursery and always a huge weight off our shoulders knowing how happy he was to be there. Isin who works with Ashley was also amazing to us and with our kid.
My son was at Ashley's from age 14 months for a couple of years and we couldn't have been happier with it. Ashley and her team have a genuine love for the kids and they felt like family.
Her house is setup amazingly with so many activities and the daily adventures to zoo/playgroup/RAF museum/IKEA(!) meant there was never a dull day and they got lots of fresh air.
We were lucky that he had a fab crew of similar aged kids there at the same time and they have become 'lifelong' friends.
Fabulous place, and a lovely transition from a home setting into childcare.
Our son has been with Ashley for a year and is now leaving to go to nursery. He’s really enjoyed his time there and been so well looked after in a caring, home from home environment. Ashley’s setting is wonderful - with lots of bright space to play and a large garden. My son has loved the daily trips including to London zoo. Many nurseries have reduced these after covid but Ashley always takes them out. The play sessions in the afternoon are always fun and imaginative and she keeps us updated with plenty of pictures. I can’t recommend Ashley highly enough and we’re sad to leave.
My 2 year old has been going to Ashley's since he was 9 months old. He settled in so well and went to full days very quickly. He always looks forward to going round because he knows he is going to have fun and will get the attention he needs. I was looking for somewhere he could go that had a good number of children for him to play with but with enough focused care from someone that he felt secure. The child to carer ratio is perfect at Ashleys and it really just feels like a second home. Being in a home setting makes this even more true and was something that really appealed to me.
The added benefit of Ashleys is that they often go out on little trips to museums, the zoo, the park etc. They are so creative with what they do with the children that there is no chance of them getting bored. I have always felt my son is in safe and very caring hands at Ashleys. I couldn't recommend it more highly.
My daughter spent two really special years with Ashley and her team. She settled in straightaway, thrived, and was so happy we decided not to move her when we moved to Muswell Hill. She was always excited to be dropped off, and never looked back.
The environment is warm, nurturing, fun and creative and the daily trips - including to the zoo - are brilliant. I used to love talking to my daughter about the days she had at Ashley’s house!
I think what Ashley and her team offer is pretty unique, and I can’t imagine there having been a better option for my daughter and us. There were many tears on her last day last year.
On a side note, my daughter had a couple of allergies when she was a baby and Ashley and her team were great at supporting us with this.
My kids have both attended Ashley’s for over 2.5 happy years and love it so much. Her home is bright, lots of play space with a fantastic garden. What I love the most is that the kids go out on a different trip most days (local parks/zoo and pre covid to playgroups/garden centres) and do loads of craft activities too. It feels very non institutional (great for Montessori fans!) and the kids and parents are so happy. Highly recommend!
My daughter started with Ashley when she turned 1 and settled in quickly. Ashley and team were very warm and caring, my daughter was always very happy to go and I always felt at ease when she was there. We moved out of London or else she would still be going. I wholeheartedly recommend Ashley’s childcare.
Our two and a half year old boy spent 18 very happy months with Ashley and her team. He settled in very quickly and thoroughly looked forward to meeting up with his friends each day. He came home singing songs that he learned, recounting stories told and excitedly talking through the many trips to the zoo and other excursions he went on each day. Seeing photos of him in action on the Instagram page and via the app were the highlight of our day. We recently moved out of London otherwise he would still be there. Snap up a space while you can.
Our young boy joined and pretty much right from the beginning really loved it, made friends and bounded in every day.
Ashley, Isin and the whole team go to the effort to welcome them in with a smile, and arrange lots of activity, play and learning opportunities.
A few things that are great are the back garden always being accessible for them to let off steam, and most days they head off to a park or zoo to get a change of scenery and experience new things.
We were sad to say goodbye when we moved out of the area and recommend the whole team and environment they provide for the kids.
