My daughter has been looked after by Mary since I returned to work when she was 11 months old. Returning to work and finding childcare was a difficult process however Mary was recommended to me by a friend and from then I felt assured that my daughter would be cared for while I was at work.
Mary provides a home from home environment and my daughter settled in straight away and never shed a tear when dropped off (she had previously been at a nursery and often cried when dropped off) the feeling that my daughter was happy to go to her childcare provider was a huge comfort while I commuted and worked. Pearl speaks about Mary and her family nearly every day at home and often asks to play with her friends at Mary’s house. Mary has a flexible approach as I only needed childcare on a part time basis.
Pearl has learnt about healthy eating, mark making, creative play and has developed skills such as using tools, making food, growing and learning about fruit and vegetables and helping to care for Marys pets. I feel that Mary has helped Pearl to grow in confidence and become the friendly and confident 3 year old that she is today.
