My daughter has been with Claire for 2 years and wow wow wow!
My favourite things about Claire:
- She sends us frequent photos of what my daughter is doing so that we feel included and up to date. The quality of the photos are amazing - I think she could make a career as a child photographer!
- She has the rare combination of being both very professional but also very caring, friendly and genuine towards all the children (and parents) that she works with.
- Lots of fun trips / outings / toddler groups for my daughter.
- She is flexible whenever she can be with timings etc which has helped us out on many occassions.
I can't recommend Claire highly enough, she is worth her weight in gold and always goes the extra mile.

Overall
My daughter went to Claire’s for childminding when I returned to full time work, she was 1 year old and stayed until she was 4. She immediately settled in as Claire has a lovely setting and is brilliant with the kids. They go on lots of outings from farm visits to soft plays to art groups so the children really get a chance to experience a bit of everything and my daughter has formed some lovely relationships with both Claire and Sue as well as strong friendships the other children. It’s given her a fantastic start and I’m so grateful to have found such a brilliant childcare setting for my eldest, my only regret is that we moved so I can’t now send my youngest daughter.
For a warm, fun, caring, home from home setting, I can’t recommend Claire highly enough!

I was very lucky 2 years ago to stumble across a new childminding duo......I was new to the area and desperate for a more intimate child care setting than the restricted nursery my daughter was attending I definitely was not disappointed.
Claire and Lucy have a fab dedicated area in the house for the children, leading to a lovely big conservatory and a purpose built garden, great in the summer as this is where they spend so much time! My daughter settled in so well it was often difficult to get her to come home! The added benefit with having 2 amazing childminders is they can look after a few more children so your child gets exposed to a wide variety of ages and abilities! There is always someone to play with and Claire and Lucy deal with the children so well and have the calmest personalities I know! I attribute my child's manners and eating habits purely to them. Claire and Lucy have a special bond with all he little ones they look after and is evident in how well settled and happy all the children are that they care for.
I was so sad when my daughter had to leave for primary school (as was she) and I didn't hesitate to send my son to be cared for by Claire and Lucy when I returned to work. Claire and Lucy offer a fantastic home from home environment, where I can leave my children and feel safe in the knowledge they are safe, loved and looked after how I would look after them. The girls put so much effort into organising activities, taking the children to fun and different places and creating new experiences; I know my Son is having a great experience and my daughter looks forward to school holidays so she can go have fun with Claire and Lucy!
The girls are flexible and accommodating and have gone above and beyond for my children and I can't recommend them enough! I am extremely proud to say the girls have played such a big part in my childrens lives.

I can't speak highly enough of Claire & Lucy. My son has been with them since September 2011 when he was 12months old and is due to leave them this Christmas as he is off to Pre-School in the New Year. He has been with the girls on both a part time and full time basis over the last two years and they have always been extremely flexible and accommodating.
My son adores Claire and Lucy and he can't wait to see them every week. I hope that he continues to see them regularly despite moving on to Pre-School. It is obvious that the girls love what they do and each and every child they care for is special to them. I am extremely proud that they have had a hand in raising my son - I often wonder if his manners would be nearly as good if he was at home with me full time!
The activities they do are endless and I am a big fan of all the outings they take the kids on, exposing the children to many more environments, experiences and variety than a nursery could provide.
As there are two of them it also means that my son has enjoyed the company of a larger number of children than otherwise would be the case with a childminder, which I think has been highly beneficial and provided him with a large circle of friends.
For the care that they provide I truly believe Claire & Lucy are worth their weight in gold and I will, without hesitation, be signing my second child up next year!
