I would 100% recommend Asenby House to anyone who wants their child to be looked after incredibly well. Maya has been with Kate for over 2 years and she just loves every minute. She happily sprints into Kate on a morning, and laughs and plays all day long. Kate sends us regular updates, pictures and keeps us informed which the days activities.
Kate looks after the children like they’re her own, she really cares for them and it shows.
Leaving your child can be really difficult, so it’s important to find someone you trust will look after them as well (if not better) than you do.
We will genuinely be gutted when it’s time for the transition to school.

Kate is a fantastic childminder. My daughter has been going to Kate on and off since February, and she has always felt at home with Kate, right from the beginning. She is always excited to go to Kate's house, and loves the toys, activities, and friends there. It has made her transition to childcare so much easier and stress free for me.
Kate is also very communicative and responsive, and has been so flexible in taking my daughter for odd days when I have needed last minute childcare. I really appreciate her for this. In addition, she sends an update with pictures during the day, to see what they have been up to.
Kate provides varied and nutritious meals, with plenty of fruits and snacks during the day. She has been extra conscious of meeting my daughter's dietary requirements, which I really appreciate.
Thank you very much for all of your efforts Kate - you provide a wonderful caring and nurturing environment in which it is clear that the kids in your care thrive.

Our twin daughters have been with Kate since last year and they have absolutely loved being looked after by her.
They are always happy and excited to be spending the day there and we completely trust that they will be well cared for. Kate has provided a very supportive and fun environment and now when we picked them up they don’t want to go! ❤️❤️
Her communication has always been excellent, and is nice to see that she provides a wide variety of activities, lessons and the food she provides is very healthy, varied and it sounds delicious. 😃
We highly recommend her for anyone looking for top quality, reliable, caring childminding in the York area.

Kate is a fantastic childminder and our son Gabriel has loved every minute of the time he has spent with her over the last 3 years.
Kate is an incredibly nurturing, kind, patient and caring childminder. I think of Kate as a member of our extended family now and I would highly recommend her as a childminder in York.
Gabriel was always excited to go to “Kate’s House” and when we collected him he always had a beaming smile because he loved his time with Kate so much!
The food that Kate provides is always healthy, delicious and varied. We never had to worry about Gabriel eating, or in fact worry about anything because Kate thinks of everything and caters fantastically for the needs of every child she looks after!
My wife and I cannot thank Kate enough for creating such a wonderful environment in which our son Gabriel has absolutely thrived and because of Kate our son is fully ready and prepared to start primary school ❤️

Kate stepped in to help me, when our usual childminder had to close suddenly for a few days. She responds quickly and is very engaging and quickly put my mind at rest about sending my lo on short notice. The setting is wonderful, lots of easy access to toys, books with a wonderful and secure outdoor area. Kate provided all food, drinks and anything else needed. I got updates during the day and my lo came back, keen to tell me all about his new friends. I would definitely recommend Kate, if you are looking for an engaging, home from home setting.
