Returning to work and having to put my daughter into childcare was not something I was looking forward to, but as soon as I met Mimi and Chelsea I felt instantly at ease about leaving my daughter in their care, any questions I have they answer thoroughly and professionally. These two ladies are just fantastic, and seeing how far my daughter has come along since starting with them proves it all for me. They always keep me updated on how the day went, and are just so kind and caring towards my little girl, it’s clear they have a love for their job and the children they look after.

My twins are 20 months old and have been at Sweet Serenity since it opened a few months ago and they absolutely love it.
As soon as we met Mimi and Chelsea we felt right at home, so welcome and at ease the second they opened their doors to us.
The space was so impressive, spacious with lots of toys, i felt like I was in a nursery but it had such a homely feel to it.
They interacted so beautifully with the boys and were so interested in getting to know everything about them.
They learned to tell them apart so quickly, I was so impressed- I think that’s because they’ve got so much experience between them and with twins too!
We got such great vibes from them straight away and we knew this was the place for us, you could really tell that they love what they do and take great pride in it! I don’t think I left it more than 5 minutes from visiting before texting Chelsea to get the boys booked in.
My twins have severe eczema and have quite a lot of allergies and the prospect of this didn’t phase either of them at all. They have been amazing at catering to their needs, supplying them with varied nutritious meals and lots of fruit and snacks!
The boys have so much fun with them, always going to the park and out for walks. Both Mimi & Chelsea are full of energy and keep them entertained the whole time, even when I come to pick them up they’re always still running around and playing together.
I don’t even feel like I’m missing much of their day as I’m always updated with videos, photos and messages with how they’re doing and what they’re doing and at the end of the day we’re always provided with a little sheet detailing everything which I LOVE to read.
The twins have developed such an amazing bond with them in such a short amount of time and I’m so glad we found them! It’s definitely made working in this pandemic easier for us knowing that they’re both happy and in the greatest hands possible!
Would 1000% recommend.

We have recently moved to the area and needed to arrange childcare to start immediately for work and not knowing anyone locally for advice meant we had a potentially stressful task ahead of us.
I had been a little hesitant as SweetSerenity was so new and had no reviews yet but we wanted to look at all options so we arranged a meeting.
Chelsea and Mimi where the first childminders we met with and honestly after that first meeting there was no competition. They were both so friendly and put us immediately at ease. They were able to answer all of our questions and to be fair I think they raised anything we might’ve had concerns about before we had a chance to ask. They had clearly put so much time, effort and love into getting their new business off the ground and it really showed. Both myself and my partner came away really happy. We had a really good feeling about them.
Being new to the area has been a little daunting but they have made it much easier with their kindness and a friendly ear not only for my daughter but for me too.
Settling in has gone so smoothly, there are sometimes a few tears at drop off but I think that’s normal anyway, within minutes I get a picture of her smiling and playing happily.
We are a vegan family also and the girls have been so accommodating towards our dietary requirements, always providing healthy and varied meals... She eats so much when there I think that speaks for itself about their skills as chefs.
I tend to overthink everything so sent a long list of questions about naps, food, trips out etc before we started and they happily addressed everything even thanking me for raising some items which they hadn’t thought of. They’ve never made me feel unreasonable for questioning anything and as a result I feel like we’ve developed a really healthy, open and honest relationship.
I trust Mimi and Chelsea completely with my daughters care and development and I can see how much she loves going there. She gets a level of education and interaction from their setting that I could never replicate at home so I’m extremely grateful to them. We 100% made the right decision to choose them and I look forward to seeing how my child grows in their care.
