I started in year 5 in preparation for my 11+ exams. I learnt English and Maths. She helped to improve my spelling punctuation and grammar as well as my reading and handwriting. She also helped me to understand topics such as formula, bidmas and algebra. As a tutor, she was very understanding and made difficult subjects manageable. She was a determined teacher who strived to get the best out of me.

Ms Hans is a beautiful soul who helped my daughter become the confident woman she is today. I will always be grateful for the time and care she spent with my daughter when she had tuition and especially during one summer. She managed to achieve what the school failed to do for my daughter. I will always remember how my daughter would tell me they would go to the garden and get the tomatoes and make lunch. I was really upset when she moved as I really wanted my younger daughter to have tuition from Ms Hans too. Hand on heart I haven’t come across another Ms Hans, she one in a million! I’m truly thankful for all you have done for my daughter and thanks to you she’s now at Kings College London and has a great future ahead of her.

My son and daughter began tutoring with Ms Hans last summer. When my daughter could not continue with Ms Hans due to some learning difficulties, Ms Hans was extremely understanding and helpful in finding a solution to help her. Grateful!
My son on the other hand really took to Ms Hans superior style of tutoring. She has high standards of discipline and neatness in presented work both of which key for personal and academic success. Although my son now boards in his secondary school he continues to see Ms Hans in his holidays as he’s realised that work done with Ms Hans over last summer has set him way ahead of his peers in his year group. I’m grateful to Ms Hans for bringing out the best in him and stretching him beyond his comfort zone.

My son started lessons with Ms Hanz as he was really struggling in his school. Ms Hanz assessed his needs and tailored the lessons based on it. She worked on his awkward pencil hold, handwriting, reading, numeracy, and so much more. I think she has definitely helped him gain his confidence in the school setting and removed hesitation of writing. She has definitely transformed him into a fluent reader which created his love for books. In a matter of few months, my son has developed an interest and love for learning. She has such a patient, firm and yet assertive way. She instills the trust, confidence in us that this is the right path of learning for our son.

Ms Hans is truly an amazing lady! My children have improved so much with her teaching. They actually come out of their sessions smiling and wanting to do more which is great. Ms Hans is very knowledgable and an inspiring lady with writing her own book and many other things. We have got to know her very well over the past year and half and are very grateful to her. I highly recommend her for anyone thinking about tutoring. Wish we had met earlier!

Ms Hans has been teaching my sons for over a year now and I cant recommend her highly enough! She has a vast knowledge of different skill sets that are applied to each individual child to benefit their own learning. This not only makes learning fun and enjoyable but engaging and memorable too. Ms Hans ensures that the boys know what they are doing and understand why not just copy and repeat. Ms Hans has a stricter teaching style but I feel this builds personal development and etiquette. My boys really look forward to seeing her each week.

I have been very happy with the high level & quality of tuition provided by Ms Hans for my son's exam preparation and schoolwork support. She really helped him to stretch himself, improve his focus and dedication with great results.
I have used her now for two of my children, and she has been consistently reliable, dedicated and focused. She has been able to hone in on the areas that they needed to improve on, which has benefited them enormously.

Ms Hans coached my son for his school work and 11 plus preparations, covering maths, English, verbal and non-verbal reasoning. Her holistic approach, encompassing penmanship and organisational skills, has helped him establish good habits which are delivering results. He has made great progress in his work and I will be using her again for my younger son in the coming months. She is firm, fair but warm in her tutoring style and gives the children a strong foundation for their future learning.

After our older son passed his 11+ exams having got trained by Ms Hans, we didn't need to look elsewhere but use her services for our daughter. In a short time, she became more confident and improved in literacy and numeracy. Then the pandemic broke and we thought how a 6-year-old child will learn on zoom? But we were amazed at how Ms Hans regulates pupils remotely. She provides homework to support learning of lesson then she goes through it properly pointing mistakes. Correcting mistakes has helped our daughter to do better next time. She is now able to check her own work before handing it in. We think, Ms Hans’s teaching is very nice. She has all the skills to bring the best out of a child, whether it is personal or zoom lessons. We were surprised, our daughter also learnt joint up handwriting on zoom. And that’s because of Ms Hans tolerant attitude. She has a way of making children work hard but they still love her

Our son is 7 year old autistic child and at the time of starting private tutoring with Ms Hans, we was about 2 years behind the school curriculum. Ms Hans was highly recommended to us and so we gave it a try. WOW what a difference.
He started seeing Ms Hans half way through his Y2 school year. Within 6 months he started to read and write.
4 & 1/2 of these months were during COVID so he was not at school and home learning was not really working. But he still achieved Y1 targets in this time.
Ms Hans works in alignment with the school curriculum and also knows a lot about autism and the complexities and behaviors this sometimes brings. This gave us much needed comfort. Her environment is calm, quiet and peaceful.
Ms Hans was able to work with him and implement functional processes and tools to help him focus and learn.
She is very professional and structured which was beneficial to him. She is easy to talk to and positive about him and his progress. Ms Hans adapts her learning approach and skills to suit the student and is happy to try new things. She keeps frequent and good communication with us so we can see his progress and achievements all the time.
We have, do and would definitely recommend Ms Hans.

Ms Hans taught me through the 80's and 90's and now she is teaching my children who are 7 and 5. Due to the lockdown, I could not imagine stopping lessons and we have been doing zoom lessons. I was a bit worried about how a 5 year old will adjust to zoom lessons. But everything has been going really well. Ms Hans understands the psychology of a child; she is intitutive and positions herself to get the best out of a child. My kids have made great progress through their learning during lockdown in all their core subjects, maths, english and science. The resourses Ms Hans uses are effective to engage and challenge children. She is firm but fair; my kids are always looking forward to the lessons. Recently, she has been awarded Certificate of Excellence in teaching. I would add to it: if anybody is an architect of a private lesson, it is Ms Hans. I would recommended her wholeheartedly.

This testimonial is for Ms Hans who helped us with our 10 years old daughter. We contacted Ms Hans way back in Nov 2018 while we were looking for a specialist teacher to help our daughter in her academics (especially in Maths, English and creative writing) with not just by filling the gaps but also to install confidence to appear for 11plus exams. It was one of the best decisions we took in recent times – Ms Hans not only used the methodological approach to identify the areas of improvement in her but also came up with plan to overcome them, supported her, motivated her using various approaches and worked with her throughout the 16 months journey enabling her passing the exams of ALL three schools she appeared for. Ms Hans is a dedicated, committed and excellent teacher who knows the child psychology and we truly hope we have more such professionals around to bring positive change in children.

We chose Mrs Hans only going by the reviews and her background. It turned out to be a very good decision. Our 5/6 year old was struggling at school (late bloomer + young for his year + easily distracted), and was 'Working Behind' on most of the core areas. Since he started (now 5 months) we have seen not only good progress with both maths and English, but a continued interest in going to his lessons with Mrs Hans. he enjoys his learning, finds it fun and has become a proud learner and much more confident at school. He is still a little behind, but I think he has caught up on a lot of ground over summer and hopefully we will see him grow even more now that he is back at school. The things we like: topics are very closely aligned to curriculum so we recognise the topics when they appear in school homework, small amounts on each topic, good attention to detail in areas like handwriting - as a result he has received praise at school for his handwriting, fun approach to topics, allowing us to do numbers in the car (mentally). Things we are looking forward to: more independent approach to doing work at home (we hope this will come soon), catching up at school and even perhaps excelling in a few areas (giving him some well deserved confidence).

Ms Han has helped my kids enormously throughout the year. They have made dramatic progress. She knew how to set up teaching target to suit the children's special needs. She is very good at being strict as well as supportive. We strongly recommend her to all the prospective students. Thank you Ms Hans!

Ms Hans has been teaching my daughter since she was in year 5. I tried various tution centres; the fee for these centres was low as teaching was done in large groups but it did not work for me. Ms Hans was introduced to me through one of her student's parents . Ever since we met her, we haven't looked back. I also had my second daughter join. Now my daughters are in year 7 and 8 still studying with Ms Hans. She has helped to raise their confidence by teaching them skills of organisation and planning and learning how-to-learn. Besides teaching Maths and English, Ms Hans has taught them how to value time and making use of it while you have it. I am pleased to say that my daughters have progressed tremendously and the support that she has provided is commendable. I wish Ms Hans all the best for future.

Ms Hans prepared my son for entrance exams who managed to get through successfully. Her approach to teaching and manner had everything that I was looking for. She sets guidelines in the start so pupil can adopt the appropriate pattern of learning from the very beginning. At the same time, she was very encouraging which lifted my son's confidence and morale. She set regular homework and expected it to be completed in high standards by the following lesson. Besides the content of work, she laid strong emphasis on good handwriting, presentation and organisation of work. I must say, this greatly helped my son to enjoy his school work more; he could focus on the subject at hand with greater ease. Ms Hans was strict, professional but friendly. She gave us honest feedback on how my son was doing; she was never short of time when it came to meeting with me. I would highly recommend her for any educational need of any child wishing her the best on her future endeavours....."

Mrs Hans gave tuition to my son at the end of year 4 for a few months, and the aim was to improve his English. And to be honest the results we got are better then our expectations, as my son is more confident and can do his school homework without any hep and his school teacher is happy too with his improvement.
I Will recommend Mrs Hans 100%.

Ms Hans has tutored our son for his 11+ exams in the core subjects of Maths and English and he trained him for verbal and non-verbal reasoning too. The results were simply outstanding with offers from all the top private, selective schools he applied too. She is a passionate teacher who has been able to forge a special relationship with our son based on respect and support. She displays enthusiasm for the subject she is teaching and a desire to share her knowledge. She adapted her teaching strategies according to our son’s needs and subjects. She has been very focused not only in providing the tools to perform well in a test environment but offering a general learning method for understanding, critical-thinking and problem-solving. She has been fantastic in setting clear goals and providing high-quality feedback to all of us with her impeccable and charming manners. She is interested in helping the children to use their abilities at their best, carefully supporting their personal growth and encouraging their independence and organisational skills. Ms Hans is very experinced person as per my experience. she exactly knows where is the child is lacking behind and then work on his weak points. time management is the key.lots of study material and fun ways to teach and keep childs moral up by always encouraging them in a different ways.

Ms Hans is a professional tutor. Her lessons are carefully planned. She organized a party for all the children during Christmas period to make them feel comfortable. We used her for general tutoring for my daughter with english and math and we recommend her for the same.

We as parents decided to find extra tutoring as our daughter struggled with maths, english and reading.
Ms Hans has truly helped our daughter with all of these subjects, not only to understand them better, but to feel more confident when practicing them too.
Our 6 year old daughter has been visiting Ms Han since August 2015,
we find her a caring and nurturing tutor who our daughter is now very fond of.
We highly recommend Ms Hans as a tutor.

Ms Hans has tutored my son who has learning difficulties due to developmental delays.
She has lot of expertise in this area, and has helped my son concentrate and learn on multiple activities. She has designed activities and learning programme based on his level. We are very much surprised by the outcome as my son can speak, identify and learn English upto words level now. He is very vocal and developing day by day.

Mrs Hans who has tutored me for over 8 years has been a great addition to my academic life and has helped me enhance key skills in both Maths and English to help me where I am today currently doing my GCSE's. Mrs Hans has always cared for me and fellow students and has always made sure we achieve to the best of the standards and no less such as making sure we practice key maths problems which we struggle on until we perfect it. Mrs Hans has also made sure we have a fun and joyful experience at her class by hosting great Christmas parties and prizes for good work.

Ms Hans is a professional, knowledgeable and experienced tutor who makes learning fun. My son, Edward, enjoyed his weekly lessons with her and would always look forward to his next session. She helped him last year prepare for the 11+: her lessons were carefully planned; her approach firm but flexible, patient and empathetic and she combined learning with loads of praise, motivation and encouragement, just what my son needed. She was always readily available to answer any queries or concerns I had. I highly recommend Ms Hans as a tutor.

I have known Ms Hans since 1990. She tutored my three children, first the core subjects, maths, English, science and then trained them for verbal and non-verbal reasoning. Two of my boys got admission in Grammar schools and my daughter got through a private entrance exam. My children are all married and now my grandchildren are seen by this lovely charming lady who does not seem to have grown old at all. She is ever so graceful in every manner and got the best out of my children too.
We would recommend her to anybody who is seeking a tutor with knowledge, skills and abilities, professionalism and maturity.
