Childminder for our son

Soledad started looking after our son when he was one, he is now five and about to start school and has been cared for by her all this time. We are so grateful we found Soledad. She teaches the children in her care to be kind and thoughtful. Her home is so welcoming and she puts such thought into getting to know each child, helping them grow in confidence and learn. I have always felt utterly confident leaving my son in her care and could not recommend Soledad more highly.

wonderful caring childminder

We have been with Soledad for these past 2 years and could not have wished for a better kinder person to care of our daughter. From the first, Soledad carefully settled her in, taking note of her routine and food she liked eating. She settled really quickly and has been really happy there, making strong friendships with the other children too. She looked forward to coming to Soledad's from early on, and when she could walk, would run up to greet her with a big hug.
Soledad tailors her care and nurture to each child individually and will take the time see to their individual needs, as well as encourage something new- whether its encouraging walking to the playgroup( rather than sitting in the buggy), potty training, or getting a child to eat their greens. (Infact her food is so tasty and I'm always greeted with wonderful aromas of their supper). Its all done through lots of fun and play and Soledad has a vast knowledge of this. We've always been impressed with this.
She also encourages lot of out door activities which we really appreciated, plus visits to the library, to nice play groups, to the local garden centre when they have half term events on. But importantly the setting is a safe and nurturing environment, a wonderful home-from-home. With lots of stimulating toys, singing, story reading, fun and laughter. We will all really miss her!

fantastic childminder

Soledad isa wonderful childminder who offers advice if you need it but not if you don't! Soledad is one of daughter's most favourite people on the planet and she is missing her already since we left her to start school in September.
Soledad is loving and generous and manages behaviour positively, providing excellent meals and a range of activities to suit the interests of your child. She attends local play groups and takes the children for regular walks.
She was absolutely perfect for my daughter and we wouldn't have left if she wasn't due to start school.

Superb!

Soledad is a fantastic childminder and my little girl thrived in her care. She was everything plus more that I was looking for. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a childminder - she's a credit to the childminding community!
