I'd like to wholeheartedly recommend Sumayya as a childminder. Sumayya cared for our son, River, starting when he was just nine months old, and we feel incredibly lucky to have found her during such an important stage of his development. From the beginning, Sumayya was warm, approachable, and kind—qualities that immediately put both River and us at ease. She has a professional background as a nurse and holds a degree in Public Health, which gave us additional confidence in her judgment and caregiving skills. She is clearly knowledgeable, attentive, and exceptionally good with children. Sumayya consistently went above and beyond in her care. She took the time to understand and accommodate River’s individual needs, including his vegetarian diet and napping schedule. She prepared healthy, home-cooked meals for him, and made thoughtful adjustments to ensure he was comfortable and happy. Her attention to detail and willingness to adapt were deeply appreciated. We also valued how communicative she was—regularly sending photos and updates that reassured us and allowed us to feel connected to River’s day, even while we were apart. It’s clear she genuinely enjoys spending time with children and takes pride in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for them. In short, Sumayya is a smart, capable, and compassionate caregiver. She brings a rare combination of professional expertise and genuine warmth, and we are so grateful for the care and attention she gave to our son. We would not hesitate to recommend her to any family seeking a trustworthy and loving childminder.
