A special, happy time for my daughter

I've never used childcare before for any of my children, having been at home full-time with them - and so to leave my daughter (aged 2) with someone else has been a big step. Lisa has been everything that I could have hoped for in helping my daughter make this transition. The atmosphere in her house is always warm and welcoming, and she makes my daughter feel special and secure. I love how Lisa incorporates the children into a 'home' routine - there's no sense that she's constantly shepherding them into forced 'learning activities', but rather she follows their lead and does lots of what interests them. This has included making photo books, making dens, a trip to a farm, water play outside, jigsaws, reading - everything a two year old should be doing! My daughter always has a lovely time when she is with Lisa, and the warmth that I can feel between them is reciprocal and genuine. Its been a special time for my daughter, and we thank Lisa for all the effort, fun and care she's put into looking after her.

My daughter loves Lisa

My daughter Amelie went to Lisa when she was 11 months and fell in love with her so quickly. She would often want to stay and would ask to see her every day!!

Lisa went above and beyond caring for Amelie; it meant so much to have a wonderful childminder. The written development was incredibly in depth, and she clearly cared to see Amelie grow and develop.

We feel so privileged to have had such an incredible childminder being such a massive part of our daughters life. Although we're obviously very happy for Lisa to have had a baby, we're really sad that it won't work out for her to look after our (now two) little girls due to my job.

Lisa is great

I have used Lisa in the past on a temporary basis to look after my 16mth old boy and found her to be the absolute best!
She is sweet, friendly, generous and treated Jeremy like her own. He absolutely loved and adored her and took to Lisa and her son straight away. She is flexible and was always able to work around our schedule even sometimes at short notice.
Jeremy always loved his days with her, weather they were out on day trips to art museums, parks or play groups or they were indoors he always came home happy and with new stuff he learned everyday. She always provided healthy meals and snacks and Jeremy never came home hungry
Words are not enough to describe how much we love Lisa and how much we enjoyed our time with her. She was our first experience with childminders and she made us and Jeremy feel so comfortable and happy that we wish we never had to leave her. If there was a higher rating than 'GOOD' then Lisa definitely deserves it! She is a gem.

'Lovely Lisa" is just the best!

My husband and I have used Cupcake Childminding since I returned to work in March 201 for my daughter, who was 2 in June '11.

I cannot praise nor thank Lisa enough for the gentle, loving and patient care she gives to my daughter and the most amazing learning environment she provides at her home. She also takes my daughter out & about to lots of fun places; they regularly visit the library and in the summer months they enjoyed many a picnic lunch in the park.

Lisa provides a detailed account of my daughters day which is very useful and also ensures there is a partnership approach to the care of my daughter which is familiar to her. Lisa is always accommodating to our needs and preferences for our daughter and so my daughter is extremely happy and secure spending 2 days a week with Lisa.

The meals & snacks are always home-made and very much enjoyed by my daughter; and I can vouch that her baking is very yummy too! The playroom is a very stimulating and child-friendly environment which Abigail feels most at home in; the garden too is well equipped with lots of toys and is very safe to play in.

I am so pleased to have got to know Lisa & her family & I feel very blessed to have her as my daughters' childminder as she really does provide everything and more that I could hope for in a childminder.

Thankyou so much Rebekah. I feel very blessed to have such a beautiful, happy, chatty little girl to care for. I am so pleased she has settled in well and enjoys coming, we enjoy having her. On the days she does not come Oliver always asks where she is.
