Highly professional childminder

Helen took on my son at short notice when we lost our previous childminder. We didn't have time for lots of settling in sessions, yet she still managed to settle my son quickly and sent me reassuring messages and photos to let me know how he was doing. I have experienced both nurseries and childminders with my children. In my opinion, Helen offers the best of both. They get one to one in a home environment at her house. In addition, Helen rotates her toys daily and takes them out on trips and to playgroups. Ste ensures there's an educational element every day - they paint, grow vegetables, count, read, sing songs - everything you can think of. I never knew a childminder could be so enthusiastic and committed to their work. My son had glue ear and Helen went out of her way to learn how to support him. Helen is firm but fair, and I think my son has benefitted from having to learn to be independent. We are moving area and we are very sad to lose Helen as our childminder. I genuinely think she is fantastic.
