About Us
We are a two form entry primary school for ages 3 -11, located in a vibrant and diverse community in South Hackney, close to Victoria Park.
Lauriston is a happy and inclusive school of which our children are proud. We actively celebrate and embrace the many different cultural backgrounds represented in our school and we are wholeheartedly committed to the notion of a harmonious and caring multi-cultural society.
We aim to provide a warm, happy and stimulating environment in which children enjoy learning and are able to appreciate its importance and relevance to their lives.
Our Childcare Provision
At Lauriston School we provide Breakfast Club and Extended After School provisions.
Breakfast Club starts at 8:00am. Breakfast is served until 8:30am.
After the children have eaten breakfast, a variety of activities and games are available and children are fully supervised until they go to class at 8:45am.
We do have vacancies for either regular slots or occasional drop in sessions.
Extended After School Provision is childcare for children from 3.30 to 5.45pm Mon-Thurs and 3.30 -5pm on Friday.
Children have the opportunity to take part in adult led activities as well as being able to take part in free choice play in a safe and secure setting and are given a snack during the time at Extended After School Provision.
