About Me
My name is Natalie Macpherson and I was graded OUTSTANDING at my last inspection in February 2020 for the second time. I live in Dorking close to the main train station. I am married with three children and love being a mother. I have a well equipped playroom with many resources that reach to all seven areas of learning via the Early Years Foundation Stage and a large garden. We go out on various trips such as childminding/toddler groups, parks, libraries, soft play, woodland areas for Forest school. I plan activities according to interests or celebrations throughout the year. We do lots of arts and crafts, story time, ryhme time, we have fun cooking and explore the outside world incorporating fun and innovative activities. Whilst your child will have the opportunity to social with others their own age, I also run a Childminder Group called Tuesday Toddles once a week.
My Experience
As well as being a mother of three, I've been a childminder for over 16 years. My roles before this included being a PA for 5 Board Directors, an Office Manager and a Packaging Manager for various well known retail companies.
My Qualifications
I have attended and completed the CHiP course. I am first aid trained and regulary attend workshops, courses and conferences which help me have a better insight into looking after children. I am also level one makaton trained. I have experience with Type One diabetes and coeliac disease.
My Availability
The hours I work are from Monday to Thursday Term Time only 8.00am - 5.30pm but are negotiable if an earlier drop off in the morning is required. There is a minimum contract agreement of 8 hours a day with two days a week. Please be aware I do not charge in the holidays ie a retainer but able to provide adhoc care through the summer holidays and half term weeks if required.
As I am Term Time only it may be beneficial to someone working in education. Please do message me if I can help in anyway.

My Fees
- Childminding from £8.50 per hour
My hourly rate is £8.50 which includes snacks and outings. Meals are charged at £2.25 each sitting however the parent is able to provide their own if they wish.
I can receive the Government Tax-Free Childcare Vouchers. I am able to claim the Government Funding for Early Years children (up to 30 hours) for 9m to 4 years old from September 25. This can include FEET funding for for 2-3 years olds, if required.
