One in a million Amazing childminder! Our world!!

I absolutely love Ellen and her setting. So large and spacious and ellen herself is one in a million. I don’t know how I am going to live without her.

She looked after both of my boys from 10 month old. She’s had them for years and she’s the only person I trust in the whole wide world to look after my children. They love her. And I mean genuinely love her. And I love her too. In fact my whole family is heart broken to be leaving the setting.

Ellen is amazing, kind, generous, helpful and always always puts the children first. She nurtures them, focuses on their development and helps them become beautiful little people. Her attention to detail is impeccable. Her love and care is endless. And her dedication and commitment is above and beyond. I can’t imagine anyone else ever having my children or providing the high quality of care like Ellen has.

Her setting is warm, welcoming and truly spacious. She does many activities in line with the children and their development. She is active and caring and nurturing. My children both had so much fun with her. Gymnastics, soft plays, messy play, baking, cooking, farms, animals, strawberry picking, adventures of all kinds. I have so many memories, handprints and foot prints and photos frames from Ellen… they are all magical memories for me. Each one more precious than the last.

I cannot recommend Ellen enough. I’m in debt to her. She helped me raise my children whilst I worked and so did my husband. Any emergency Ellen was always so helpful. We love you Ellen and will always stay in touch.

For those families in long Eaton who get the amazing opportunity to have Ellen next…. You are the lucky ones. One in a million, and truly a part of our world. Thank you for teaching my children kindness, love, being magical and kind. For nurturing and truly developing them physically and mentally. You have made them into wonderful little people. Thank you.

Sad to be leaving!

Further to my earlier review, my little boy has now been with Ellen for nearly 4 years! It's time for him to go to school but we will be so say goodbye to Ellen and the other kids who have been absolutely amazing along the way. Ellen's input has helped my son to develop and reach milestones in a fun, interactive and caring way. As parents my partner and I have always felt completely reassured and happy with the childcare provided, we have seen Ellen's setting and facilities develop over the last few years and feel lucky to have been able to have such high quality childminding local to us for all of our son's preschool needs. We would thoroughly recommend the setting to others.

Dream Childminder

Our little boy has been with Jolly Toddlers nearly 6 months now and has developed a really strong bond with Ellen. Ellen is a parents dream- she's extremely flexible to parent's needs, keeps the children engaged with a variety of activities, feeds them nutritious meals and monitors them closely if they're under the weather. I also love her online diary system which allows you to access photos and updates of what your child has been up to that day. In short, I feel extremely comfortable leaving my child in her care and couldn't recommend her more highly. Fantastic. xx

The Best Ever

Ellen is an absolutely wonderful Childminder, she really has a passion for working with children and its very clear. Ellen looked after my son from when he was 10 months old till 20 months old. She looked after my son with so much love and care, and my son absolutely adores her! He was always extremely excited to go to Ellen's nursery and terribly sad when it was time to go home! And that was because of how engaging, fun, and safe the nursery is. We unfortunately had to leave the nursery as I moved to a different city, and till now I haven't found anyone who comes close to Ellen. My son developed and learnt so much at this nursery, this is because of all the hard work Ellen puts into the nursery. She thinks outside of the box, she's very accommodating and flexible, professional, kind, patient, friendly and simply just amazing. I could go on and on, but if you live in Nottingham and are looking for a place where your child will be perfectly cared for, Ellen honestly is the one for that.

Amazing...supportive...kind...loveable

Ellen looked after my children...3 and 2 at the time...she was fab, trustworthly, instantly bonded with them and made them feel at home all the time. Due to redundancy we had to make other arrangements but keep in touch...we all miss her and if circumstances change we would deffo go back. She was supportive with times and payments and became a friend which was very important. She helped develop their minds and mould their creativity too...we were lucky to have her.
