About Me
Hi my name is Nagina and I am a qualified nursery nurse, tutor and Ofsted registered childminder. I am a confident, energetic, loving individual who is very well organised and love working with children of all ages as I have raised three of my own. I am a trustworthy and friendly person and I can be flexible to your child’s needs. I am fluent in English, Punjabi, Urdu currently learning Arabic. I have experience with working with people of different religious and ethnic backgrounds and therefore will cater for all individual needs. Every child I look after will be treated equally and in the best manner possible regardless of age, race, gender or religious background.
My Experience
When I qualified as a nursery nurse I worked for then the East Birmingham Health Authority where I looked after newborns and helped in the rehabilitation of children in road accidents. I also supported midwives with caseloads of children with development delay. I worked with Barnados, supporting parents with children with special educational needs and ran a volunteer’s toy library. When I moved to Telford I was employed by Bell Farm School, where I helped set up a nursery unit. Recently, I have worked in primary schools, running a playgroup and parent projects as well as classroom support. I also completed my teaching certificate and work part time for Adult Education Services as teacher where I teach ESOL courses, literacy level 1 and 2 courses and Family learning. I am currently childminding.
My Qualifications
I have a BTEC National Diploma in Nursery Nursing and I completed an Open University Learning for All course, which looked at special educational needs for young children upto adulthood. I have completed the Level 3 CACHE Certificate and also have a teaching certificate as I am a qualified teacher teaching ESOL courses for Adult Education. More recently I have completed my First Aid Certificate along with a Health Food Safety course.
My Availability
I am available 7 days a week and provide flexible hours to suit you and your child's needs. I can also provide after school, evening and weekend care.
In April i will have full time places available and after school care.

Excellent childminder. Goes out of her way to look after my little one. Pays extra attention to his needs. She has looked after my little one for nearly 4 years now. Lots of toys and learning space and activities on offer. A lovely outdoor garden with lots of activities for children. Always get feedback on how the day has gone and what new skill or activity took place. I am confident to leave my son in Nagina's care as I know he is well fed and happy when I go to collect him. Highly recommended.
