Hello, I'm Chanelle! An Ofsted registered childminder and former primary school teacher with a10-year teaching background spanning from nursery to year 6.
Equipped with a Level 3 Home-based Childcare qualification from PACEY, a Paediatric First Aid certification, and a DBS clearance, I am dedicated to staying updated on all educational policies and practices.
My true joy lies in guiding children to realise their full potential by creating enriching learning environments where they can blossom. Nestled in my nurturing, all-embracing setting, I strive to develop strong bonds with each child, providing a safe, cosy space for them to thrive, explore, and express themselves freely.
My own children, aged 2, 5, and 8, eagerly welcome new friends into our lively circle. Conveniently located near Pinner Park Primary School, I offer drop-offs and pickups for added ease.
Just a short stroll away from Headstone Recreation Ground and Headstone Manor and Museum, our outings are filled with endless discovery and fun, enriching the children's experiences. Outdoor adventures are a staple in our routine, fostering confidence, social skills, and a deep connection with the natural world.
In our home, kids engage in a range of engaging activities that stimulate both mind and body, encouraging growth across the seven areas of learning. From creative pursuits like crafting and storytelling to outdoor explorations, baking, imaginative play, and musical expressions, every moment is a chance for learning and joy.
With a garden ready for explorations, playhouses, gardening activities, and the making of muddy concoctions, there's never a dull moment at our little haven of learning and laughter.
My Experience
I have worked as a primary school teacher for 10 years, teaching Nursery to Year 6.
I have also worked as an assistant childminder.
My experience as a teacher, a childminder assistant and being a mum to 3 young children (2, 5 and 8) have all contributed to the knowledge and skills I carry as a childminder today.
My Qualifications
Level 3 Award in Preparing to Work in Home-based Childcare (HBCA) - Pacey.
Postgraduate Certificate in Education-Roehamption University.
Business Management with Marketing University of Westminster.
My Availability
I am available during, from Monday-Thursday. My opening times are between 7:30am and 6pm. However, I can be flexible with these days and times whenever possible. Holidays can be negotiated depending on my availability.

I feel blessed having Chanelle as my daughter’s childminder. I was introduced to her via a family friend for the after-school care of our daughter. Having our little one at Chanelle’s place fills us with peace knowing she is being taken care of.
On numerous occasions, I have asked Chanelle to pickup our daughter from school (last minute) and she has always been very accommodating each time (with a smile on her face).
My daughter can’t stop harping on about how much fun she’s had in Chanelle’s company; whether it’s cooking brownies, baking cakes, going to the local park to feed ducks or arts and crafts with the other kids. I’ve also noticed our daughter's desire to learn, confidence, communication and self-esteem has gone up a notch since she’s been with Chanelle.
A very happy parent here and highly recommend Chanelle’s childminding service! 5*

Chanelle has been a God send. She has looked after my 2 year old son since he was 10 months old, and collects my 8 year old daughter from Pinner Park Primary School too. My children love her and love going to her. She provides a clean, engaging and inviting home space, and my children have really flourished socially, emotionally and academically under her care. They often go out and explore the local parks and woodlands, learning through play along the way. I couldn’t have asked for more. I’d highly recommend her if you’re looking for a warm, homely setting for your child.
