About Me
I am a registered Childminder and have 22 years experience in childcare. I absolutely love working with children and knew that a career in childcare was what I wanted. I started as a Nursery Assistant in a Montessori Nursery where I worked for 8 years and progressed to a Senior Nursery Nurse. I then went onto be a Deputy Manager at another nursery in 2004 and then became the Manager in 2007.
I made the big decision at the beginning of 2013 that it was time to have a change and that's when I decided to become a Childminder.
I also have 2 daughters a 4 year old and a 10 year old and thought that being a Childminder would be great for me to continue to do the job I Iove and also care for my children at the same time.
I live with my husband, 2 daughters and our pet cat 'Minnie' in South Chingford.
Me and my girls are often in the garden or going to our local park or forest. We also enjoy going swimming which we try to do at least once a week.
My Experience
I have an NNEB Diploma in Nursery Nursing, I also have an NVQ Level 4 in Mangement. I also hold a Food Hygine level 2 certificate.
I have recently completed and updated my Safeguarding training and a Paediatric First aid.
Both me and my partner hold an up to date CRB.
I have a great deal of experiece in Health and safety and carrying out Risk Assessments in a nursery environment so I am able to use this experience to ensure that my home is a safe environment for the children that I care for.
I have a great understanding of the EYFS and the 7 area's of learning, I have had a lot of experience in planning for children's individual needs and tracking their development to ensure that they are developing to their full potential. I have also had a lot of experience in working with children who have additional needs and have had to work without side agencies to get the support that these children have needed.

My Availability
I am available to work Monday to Thursday 8.00-6.00pm, however I am willing to negotiate times if parents need an earlier start.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
