My Summary
About Me
I am a Quality Assured Network childminder and have 12 years childcare experience. I am in my 11th year of childminding having previously worked in Special Educational Needs and a Montessori setting (where I headed a nursery of 24 preschool children).
To fully develop your child's true potential, I create a homely, nuturing and stimulating environment where s/he can learn through play. Each day is balanced between organised activities, free play and quiet time; offering individual attention to meet your child's specific needs. We attend several local groups for preschool children, the park and the library. Additionally, we have trips further afield to Marwell Zoo and farm visits.
I live in a 3 bedroom Bungalow with an enclosed garden in South Wonston, a village just north of Winchester. The village offer good link to the A34 Southampton, Andover and Basingstoke. I provide a smoke-free, pet-free environment. I am a widow and have two happy teenage daughters. All adults in my household are CRB checked.
I have worked with many families and I am happy to provide a range of references on request.

I have been very happy with the care my son has received whilst with Tracy. Her home is always welcoming, clean and well organised. My son has had great fun playing with all the toys available and with the other children in her care, especially Tracy’s own children. Tracy has been warm and friendly with him, at the same time as being a professional, experienced child carer.
Tracy has provided a wide, fun range of activities, including plenty of outdoor exercise. I know my son has enjoyed going to a number of different toddler groups, outings to the park, trips to feed the ducks and walks in the woods.
Tracy is a good communicator and has had no trouble in gaining his confidence and trust.
Although I have provided my son’s lunch each day, Tracy has provided healthy snacks and a variety of light teas, which has been very helpful and one less thing to think about.
Tracy has always kept me informed about what my son has done each day, including what he has eaten, if he has slept, how he has behaved and all his activities. From this I have had a picture of his day, which has helped me to feel involved with his care and has enabled me to talk to him about his day.
I am very happy with the level of care my son has received. I’m certain that being in such a positive and happy environment has helped him develop in to a confident and happy little boy who is now ready for nursery.
I would recommend Tracy as a vey competent and reliable childminder.
