About Me
My name is Diane and I have been a registered childminder for over 18 years, I am a non-smoker. I go to parks, play groups, church playgroups, groups also run by children centres and soft play centres often within the Brixton and Clapham areas. I have a network of childminding and nanny friends that I see on a daily basis.
I enjoy being out and about with the childminding children taking them to educational places such as London Zoo and Battersea Park Zoo, as well as Vauxhall and Dean City Farm, all of which provide a hands on learning experience. I also take them on days out to museums such as the Natural History, Horniman and Science. In the summer I frequently have picnics in local parks such as Brockwell, Clapham and the Windmill with other childminders and nannies as it can help the children to develop and how to maintain friendships with each other. Summertime also takes us on planned day trips to places such as Sea-Side, Gruffalo Trail, Kew Gardens, PYO Farms, Lavender Hills, Hampton Court Palace to name a few. All these trips are planned in advance with parents permission. I also regularly meet up with other childminders and nannies for days out as well which opens up the world of education to children through socialising with new peers.
I live near both Clapham North and Brixton tube stations, and also many bus routes which can take you into the West end, City, Clapham Junction and Croydon. I can supply references for you to contact.
