About Me

I am proud to have been qualified in childcare for 28 years, within this time I have worked in a wide range of roles, supporting babies and children from birth to teens.
In addition to my career, I am a mother of two boys both of whom are well rounded
individuals and are of independent ages.
I am a caring, organised, tidy and reliable person, who takes great pride in providing
high quality childcare to the children with in my care.
I studied for the N.N.E.B. Diploma in childcare and development at college. Nurturing the young and encouraging children as they grow and develop, offering new experiences, building on the individual child's interests and having fun.
I am a competent cook and can cook healthy meals for, babies that are weaning to older children, with an understanding of any allergies or religious beliefs, which the
child may have.
I enjoy being out in the fresh air, exploring local parks, places of interests and
encouraging a healthy lifestyle. I also like taking part and encouraging children to
participate in arts and crafts, cooking activities, swimming and socialising. joining in with groups for the children's enjoyment and development.

Most of my roles have meant that I have had sole charge, responsibility for meeting all of babies/children’s needs and most importantly their well being. I am grateful for my career in childcare, and specifically early years.

I believe that I am able to use my strong organisation skills to ensure I have met all expectations within my roles over the years. Adapting accordingly to become a trusted employee.

As part of my on-going professional development, I regularly seek and attend training courses that help me develop within my role and aid my learning. In addition to this I uphold and complete my professional Paediatric first aid qualification, Safeguarding (both nationally and local Authority training) and pay for my DBS via the government update service.
I am a qualified in ‘Attention Hillingdon’ whereby I deliver specialised sessions for children that need extra support with their focus, listening and attention skills.
