About Me
I am an outstanding experienced Childminder and I work in a purpose built, fully resourced setting, within my home and offer core values of learn, play and explore.
I also have a cabin in the garden which the children use as well as the playroom in the house. In addition to this, I have a large enclosed garden for the children to play and explore in. We care for children from 0-11 years of age and I provide a safe caring and stimulating environment for the children using as many natural resources as possible.
I have looked after children from all backgrounds and provided the perfect preparation for them to be ready for the next step of their education at School.
I am married and have children of my own.
I provide all meals and snacks which are home cooked, healthy and consider the balanced choices you may wish to include in your child’s diet.
I have lots of recommendations, reviews and testimonies from parents who have placed their children with me.

My Experience
I have been childminding for 22 years and before this I worked in nurseries in the local area.
I have attained my Level 5 Qualified Nursery Nurse status and I regularly attend workshops, networking events and training courses to keep myself up to date with my professional development.
I have plenty of experience with children between the ages of 0-8.

My setting is open Monday to Thursday I offer FEEE places as well as full days and Term Time only
A purpose built cabin within the grounds of the garden.
Large enclosed outdoor play area for the children to play and explore in.
I am close to excellent public transport facilities between Otley, Bramhope and Leeds City Centre.

My daughter loved attending Dragonflies, Lisa was brilliant at helping her settle in and was always very caring and compassionate.
The children are regularly taken on really lovely trips out and Lisa put on a wide range of activities which my daughter really enjoyed. I would not hesitate recommending Dragonflies!

Both my children loved going to Lisa's and settled in really well straight from their first day. Lisa is caring and compassionate and the setting is lovely. The children were often telling me of their regular adventures out and themed activities they had done that day. They certainly miss going there!

My children went to dragonflies and lived all the activities that Lisa laid in. Lisa is very knowledge and helped me numerous times with worries and concerns. She gets to know the children well and as such can tailor the day to suit them. She is a good communicator and always thorough handovers. The children always came home happy and ready for their next visit. Thank you Lisa and the dragonflies family

Lisa was wonderful with our daughter and really helped make us comfortable when she first started. She kept us up to date with our daughter's progress and did so many lovely activities!
We are moving out of the area but would otherwise still be attending.

Dragonflies provides a great setting for your child, when my son attended he loved the various rooms and activities Lisa would put on. Some days they were based in the huge purpose built cabin, some in the house and in summer in the large contained garden. Lisa has many years childminding experience and this comes across in her manner with the children. She was flexible and able to work to my required schedule. I would recommend dragonflies over any nursery you won’t be disappointed.

My children have been going to this setting for 18 months. They love going and have gained so much. The setting offers fantastic facilities and opportunities for social interactions without being a large nursery.
The children engage with a wide range of activities and this is communicated well to parents.
I have no hesitations in recommending this setting.

My son (3 years old) has been going to Lisa's for nearly 6 months now. I am so happy that we've found Dragonflies. Lisa is very good with children and she is quite flexible too.
